Clarence and Zlatan's long shots are better, I think. Thiago Silva is also good from long range, but he doesn't try it too often. He scored more back here in Brazil. Boateng scores some sick goals too, but he also has many misses.

The best long shots that I saw since I'm a Milan fan were from Kaká. He used to take them so well. He doesn't look that good today. In 06/07 he scored some wonderful ones in the Champions League.

RIP Totti
Sure you could say Seedorf is better, over his career he probably was one of the best of all time in shooting from distance

But look at these

Zambro is still fantastic

Does anyone else think he has the best long shot in the team?

I agree his long shots are awesome. Many times he's unlucky with the post or just inches wide.

Also Oddo had one hell of a shot. I still remember his first goal with us, was an amazing, perfectly executed long shot. Shame he turned into shit after his first 6 months.

In 06/07 he scored some wonderful ones in the Champions League.

The Anderlecht goal! Damn.

He's for sure not fantastic anymore. He was my favorite wingback for a while(despite being in Juve), but he's pure crap now. I'm not sure if he's even better than Antonini. Looks not only slow, but also clumsy and sometimes dumb. He really has lost it.

I think that's harsh. He's still the same Zambrotta, just lost his legs which is understandable due to age. Still defends well, but might get outrun, and could be trusted to occasionally join the attacks. Still the best LB in the team.

I agree but its not difficult to be the best LB in the current Milan team.

People forget Zambrotta was World class and one of the best if not the best wing backs in the world. All he has lost is his pace and the ability to play week in week out. His ages gives him experience.

Until we find someone better he should play the big games if fit.

For a couple of years he was the best WB/FB in the world, and still can help the team if we know how to cover his lack of speed.

I can't see him staying past this year, he'll probably leave in the summer. Loved Zambro's performances last year, they were tremendous :proud:

He's obviously wiser than Anto, Taiwo and Urby, but I'm not sure if I'd claim he defends well. He's been constantly caught out of position, lost his man etc. A lot of it has to do with his physical decline(even some of his desperate and stupid decisions do), but it doesn't change the fact he's not good at all nowadays.

as a fan it's hard to watch zambrotta play at a level lesser than what he was capable of even only a year ago. he still has moments of greatness, but some games require more than that

i guess, not everyone can be a maldini

Zambrotta's agent: "He wants to continue playing, perhaps even abroad, but definitely not in a small team, because he doesn't deserve it."

Zambrotta's agent: "With regard to Milan, we will have to see what their intentions with Zambrotta are at the end of the season."

lazy man's king. :proud:

no think about it. he plays for the most prestigious club in the world and has won a decent amount of titles in his illustrious career.
he only seems to play a few handful of games (mostly the important ones) and mysteriously disappears until the next big game. yet he still gets a sizable salary. (considering his age)
and also, zambrotta is almost never exceptional in a match. he just does enough to help the team win. i've never seen him running his ass off or shouting at teammates giving them instructions like a senatore.
he also seems to skip training a lot and gets no harsh words from anyone.

and last but definitely not least, don't forget his AMAZINGLY hot wife/gf. :proud:

yup, life is good if you're Gianluca Zambrotta.
