Zambrotta and Buffon were the two Juve players whom I grudgingly loved, back in the days. Hated the rest coz I was young and they were rivals..

Really wanted him here to replace Cafu. We could have even gotten him in 06, just like Zlatan, but Calciopoli's uncertainty prevented that.

One of the best fullbacks in world football in the past couple of decades. The biggest success of the Italian practice of converting wingers to fullbacks. Certainly my favourite fullback along with Cafu - I probably prefer Zambrotta, but since Cafu was with Milan, I was a little biased.

I love him even more for that wonderful goal he scored in a match vs Lazio, when I was at the San Siro. In Ancelotti's last season - 2008-09. That goal made me scream my loudest that night

I won't feel his exit, to be honest. He's nowhere near Nesta, Inzaghi, Gattuso and Seedorf in terms of contribution to Milan. His best years have been way past us, and I think he was just an ordinary player at our club.

I don't feel his goodbye in a nostalgic way, I would've killed to have him during his Juventus days, but I acknowledged it was a mistake getting him in 2008. However, he was an awesome fullback during his best days, and I won't take that away from him.His contribution to Milan wasn't big, but can't ever wish him anything but the best (specially considering his a childhood Milan fan) and thank you.
