Whether that thing about what Ljajic said is true or not, he has been a prick through his Fiorentina days. Mihajlovic had major issues with him, and it's a wonder he didnt get punched by Sinisa.

I remember him complaining to the press once about Ljajic being more concerned about some frivolous thing or the other, than about football.

Anyway, wasnt there a Delio Rossi presscon supposed to be held last night or today? Let's see what he says.

Probably apologizes...his best move right now

Conte looks like an alcoholic. Not the dominant manly type ... a pussy type who sulks in a dark corner with his red sweet wine. Rack up more bottles ... cause in a few weeks, you and Peeerrllo :D will relish on what could have been ...

FORZAAAA ... lets do this :o

Delio Rossi: "I am sad about what happened and I ask forgiveness from the club, Ljajic and my players"

Delio Rossi: "Words can often cause greater wounds than swords"

Delio Rossi: "I've never slapped anyone, but I demand respect for the club I train and my family. This is why I reacted"

Rossi as per sky.it: "Certain lines should not be crossed. If someone touches my family, I can't pretend I didn't hear"

Juventus are arrogant and lack respect, says Cagliari president Cellino

Their complaints have not gone down well with the Sardinian outfit's patron, who is heavily critical of Juve's stance, and insists the standard of match officiating in Italy will suffer as a consequence.

"Juventus, above everything else, lack respect. They are arrogant," Cellino said at a press conference.

"For months they have screamed about the referees and in the long run this attitude will affect our playing environment.

"I expect a great performance [against Juve]. I would have the same approach if we played against Milan."

Cellino also lamented a "bad year" for football, as he reflected on the players' strike at the start of the season and the controversy of Juve's third star among other issues affecting Calcio.

"Someone in Turin has also started to talk about the third star. Unfortunately it's been a bad year for football," he continued.

"We started badly with a players' strike that could have been avoided and there are still many unresolved problems.

Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has attacked Juventus for being arrogant and has also accused the Turin giants of lacking respect for others.

The Bianconeri have attracted criticism from sections of the media for their perceived negative attitude towards referees when results have not gone in their favour.

"Unfortunately due to the mandates of Coni and the FIGC, our football is fragile at the mercy of politics."

The president had his say on the incident which saw Delio Rossi relieved from his managerial post at Fiorentina following his assault on Adem Ljajic, stating that while he did not condone the coach's actions, he would still consider appointing him.

"I'm with Delio Rossi. Yes he was wrong, but certain actions must be understood," he mused.

"Ljajic should also not pass for a victim. It was a similar story here when Carlo Mazzone slapped Francesco Cozza at San Siro.

"Massimo Ficcadenti has all my confidence, but I respect Rossi. In fact I'd take him at Cagliari."

all sets of fans think they have had the bad luck with refs and that they are being cheated.. and all of them are mostly wrong. Over a long enough time period all these things usually even out.

Just read an article that explained this:

When Ladri signed Padoin from Atalanta in january, they bought him for 4,5 million euro + 0,5 million bonus if Juventus win the Championship.

Do you get what I am saying ? Juventus play Atalanta in the last round, and if they win the championship, Atalanta will get half a million :(

Is there any more fine corruption than this ? :(

ummm how much does each higher place in the league table give in terms of revenue. In EPL its around 500k pounds? Climbing above bologna by performing well against juventus may give them same amount as padoin.

His transfer is irrelevant to the tie. Referee commissions on the other hand arent. :o

What if Juve were 7 points behind Milan at this point with two games to play??? Are you trying to say that Milan deliberetly lost the 7 point lead they had? You are hard to understand....

Juve themselves have to spend 10+ M if they win the title on bonuses.

It's ridiculous if you make CL final and not win it you'll make more money.

Napoli against juve, considering that napoli need to win to get Cl football, this must be our chance.

My thoughts exactly. Jube will play under huge pressure, and they could slip up yet again. After all Cagliari owes it to Max.

That happens all the time. If we win the title we pay Blackburn an extra 2 or 3 million as part of the Phil Jones deal. Most deals have add ons these days.

So this explains why Allegri isn't so optimistic. Can someone please call Cagliari and tell them to man-mark Pirlo??
