I agree lot of youth coming in.. whatever happened to pazzini??
zarate was always inconsistent .. forlan had a horrible year

alavarez obi Guarin .. and they tend to have a knack of signing better fullbacks than us.

But then again its INTER they will bottle it up for sure .. mark my words

NAPOLI WHats going to happen to them :conf:

Sneijder leaving wont make a difference. Maybe a positive difference.

Guarin already looks impressive, Alvarez will get the responsibility he got when Sneijder was injured - that's when he looked world-class, and knowing Moratti, he'll sign a lot of other youngish talents too.

And I have a feeling that they'll re-sign Balotelli.

Edit - Special mention for Andrea Poli, who has really impressed me so far.

I have barely seen inter play this season, it's literally less than 5-7 times(same goes for jube), and haven't see them at all since the new coach took over.

so I can't really judge alvarez's season, but from what I've seen he seems talented, very good passer/dribbler, not much of a scorer.

guarin is a very good CM, I praised inter for signing him during the winter market, jube are idiots for choosing to sign caceras over him.

poli started playing under the new coach? don't remember seeing him in the starting line ups when rainieri was around.

Inter will get the 3rd spot btw. You heard it here first.

Good for the league I suppose, since they'll have quite an interesting squad next season and can compete in the CL.

meh I prefer Napoli in CL, Inter can go in EL with Udinese, Roma & Lazio doesn't deserve anything

I like Napoli better obviously, but doesn't look like they have the stamina to manage two competitions in a season. Plus Lavezzi will leave next season, and that'll leave just Maggio as a crazy creator. I dont think they'll do well with that.

Yes, Poli is playing quite a bit these days. Dunno whether he has started, but several sub appearances. Certainly the most promising Italian youngster around. If you discount Balotelli.

I remember when everyone was laughing at the Alvarez deal (including some Italian press/pundits) cause he was a reserve player in Velez. And praising Jonathan "the new Maicon" as a great cope (Brazilian fullback, black, athletic, can't go wrong).

Alvarez showed a lot of promisse... Jonathan is in Parma's bench.

Next two games for jube are against Novara and Lecce, both who should be fighting like hell to avoid relegation.Hope they loose at least 2 points in the next two games.

Just when Pirlo realises what he's supposed to do Borriello steps up. I wanna see them cry.

Inter have only loaned Guarin and Poli while they still have to pay a bit more for Alvarez

That's over 15m alone

"ALLEGRI ON MUNTARI STEW" Nicchi replica coach of AC Milan 26/04/2012

Marcello Nicchi , president of the Italian referees, begins to tire of jokes Allegri on the ' ghost goal 'is not allowed to Milan in the challenge of two months ago against Juve : "I'd do a different consideration: we are faced with two great teams with two coaches that are driving the best, those lines begin to stew the people, talk about what happens every day and will happen in the future. "

Nicchi is satisfied of the performance of referees this season: "We have already won the championship. Young people are finding a niche, the more experienced you are confirming, who was wrong is recovering. that do not carry around peace and settlement, Sometimes mistakes happen but there is a free class arbitration, the third, transparent, linear, that works every day to give the best service, as we are doing. "

For Nicchi good news could come from Uefa , which could stand Rizzoli for the Champions League final. "We always hope to be present in the highest points in all events - continue - if the play Rizzoli, we know very well that when an event ends with no Italian teams in the field, the umpires are most often the ones who carry the Italian flag" .

They meant "translation of proverb" AL holding on the ghost goal of Muntari against Ladri.

Oh, ok. As long as no one eats Muntari. Man, I don't think anyone of us will forget about that goal. I think about it every day. :(

Prandelli happy with Cassano visit
By Football Italia staff

Italy boss Cesare Prandelli checked up on the fitness of Antonio Cassano today as he visited Milan in training.

The Italy CT is on a tour of clubs as he looks to make his final decisions regarding his squad for Euro 2012.

Cassano was a regular in his starting XI until the player underwent heart surgery last autumn, leaving him sidelined for six months.

“I’m seeing that Antonio is playing more and more for the Rossoneri,” Prandelli told Milan Channel on Thursday.

“This is important for a player like him.

“He’s in a good place psychologically,” the tactician added. “I was interested in coming here so I could see his motivation. I’m satisfied with today’s contact.”

Prandelli has always made it clear that he hoped to recover the former Sampdoria player in time for the European Championship.

Cassano has made an appearance in three of the Rossoneri’s last four League games.

Zamp and Lotito given lengthy bans Thursday April 26 2012

FIGC has come down hard on Palermo and Lazio’s Presidents for irregular transfer activity, banning Maurizio Zamparini and Claudio Lotito for several months.

Found guilty by the Italian FA for breaching regulation with regards to the Rosanero’s sale of Javier Pastore to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, Zamparini has been suspended from carrying out transfer activity on the behalf of his club for the next 12 months.

Similarly, Lotito has been handed a 10-month suspension from working on any market deals at Lazio, for unauthorised actions taken during the Aquile’s purchases of Julio Cruz and Mauro Zarate, both of which were concluded in 2009.

Besides wishing for a good transfer market that is gonna end up winning us the league next year, the cheery on the cake would be if we signed Del Piero.

Seeing him celebrate a scudetto in a Milan shirt, would make up for all the cheating jube did.It would be the best in your face move:D

Sometimes, it feels like at least these douchebag owners Zamparini, Lotito, and De Laurentis are more interested in finding younger talents and bringing them to Italy. Whereas we pass on all the players who do not have a big name already.

I don't get why they won't extend with him. It's not comparable to our situation with Seedorf and the likes - ADP's still got it. I haven't kept myself updated with the rumours, but MLS, Asia or Napoli perhaps?

This amazes me. One can only hope the same happens to Juve after this long streak of theirs.

Sneijder got fit right at the end of that winning streak. Immediately went downhill when they sacrificed a working combination, just to play Sneijder.
