Okay it's sad for DJ and he's our best defensive midfielder, but that position isn't the one that really makes the difference and it's the position we got covered with most players...Sissoko De Rossi and all the other names you guys mention would be an improvement but far from necessary atm, and I think with our financial state we should focus on real necessities don't you think?

De Jong will undergo surgery tomorrow in Spain. It will be performed by the Finnish doctor Sakari Orava

In 2010, Dr. Orava said that the recovery period for a ruptured achilles tendon is 3-4 months.

Dr. Orava also said that it takes 4-5 months before the player can start running properly, after rupturing the achilles tendon.

It will take around 6 months before the player can jump and kick a ball after the achilles tendon surgery, according to Dr. Orava.

Poor guy. Get well soon De Jong. Timing utterly sucks. He was just hitting form, and looked to finally settle. Midfield finally found a shape which was working and i feel like his turn in form was a big reason we started doing better.

damnn, that pic looks awful. Get well soon u warrior. His impact in the game along with monty against jube was just wonderful to watch and just when the combo was working efficiently, he gets injured unfortunately. This is the worst time to get injured damn it, we got 2 months before the UCl clash, hopefully we get players we need by then.
