Pirlo: “The real reason I left Milan…”

Pirlo: “The real reason I left Milan…”
May 11, 2012 | by Meytar Zeevi under News
ANDREA PIRLO says he left because Allegri’s tactics made him understand he’s no longer useful.

Many people regret the day Pirlo announced he leaves Milan in favour of a Juventus move, after failing to reach an agreement with the club over a new contract. Pirlo is now the Champion of Italy, with Juventus.

Pirlo without a shadow of a doubt is the main reason Juventus won their 28th Scudetto, inspiring the Old Lady while Milan couldn’t find the same of such. Andrea now reveals the real reason he has left Milan.

Nesta: “I am leaving!”
Serginho: “No intention to sell Brazilian duo”

“Milan offered me a 1-year extension but I wanted 3 years because I was younger than the other players whose contracts were expiring,” Pirlo, 32, told today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport. “But the real reason behind why I left Milan was because Allegri wanted to use Ambrosini and Van Bommel in front of the defence.

“So that meant that I had to change position on the pitch. So I said ‘No, thanks’ to Milan, and chose Juve. Milan decided that I was no longer useful to them. I understood that immediately during our meeting.

Surprisingly, I think this is a decent hire. I don't rate Allegri highly but Juve has the best squad in Italy surely Allegri can't fail when he has that kind of talent at his disposal. What it boils down too is I see no real competition for Juve in the league therefore Allegri judgement will come in the CL where I don't have much faith in him.

Not EXACTLY true. It's more of his performance and the system Allegri wanted to use in the midfield..

If he was garbage, as an innate quality of his footballing skills, then you're just not talking about the same player that everyone else is.

If you said whiny cunt as an innate quality. I'd be the first to agree with you.

Had Pirlo, Seedorf & Ronaldinho. Opted for Nocenka instead. I dont blame him though coz that season the fans wanted more younger appearance than b4.

He was garbage in his last 4-5 years with us
Before that he was only average to above-average...don't care what anyone says he was never world class and we should have sold his ass in 2008 but the bald fuck wanted him to stay

You've got to be fucking kidding with me
Pirlo left himself...nothing to do with Allegri...besides he was garbage

Seedorf was pushed by the club(with all the Senatores too)...Allegri used Seedorf...almost excessively so I have no clue what you're talking about...Seedorf's Departure was way overdue at that point too

Ronaldinho was fucking crap...his only good season was 09/10 when the squad was built around him
I think Allegri made the right choice by dumping past it trash like Ronaldinho and building the team around Ibra(won us the Scudetto)

Funny I never hear you guys criticizing Ancelotti for not using Dinho more in 2008(whom he blatantly ignored at the time)

ppl are quick to label dinho "past it" to defend the shit one's shit decisions without considering that he was the assist leader in Europe just the season before.

You know you are fucking up ROYALLY when fucking Luciano Moggi has to beg Shitelegri to treat Dinho better :fp:

Just like with Brazil....Ronaldinho and Kaka often didn't play together. You went with one OR the other. That's basically what happened with Dinho in addition to the shit fitness he came with. Leo had no Kaka and was forced to use him and he did quite well.

Shitefacefuckingcontlegri never understood ANY creative player in his life and it was no surprise that he fell out with ALL we ever had. Soooo thrilled about his Ladri appointment. I expect Tevez and Pirlo and anyone who has a bit of technique to run for dear life :proud:

Except that Nocerino arrived in 2011. When Ronaldinho and Pirlo had already left the club.

Leo didn't knew what else to do so he built the team around Dinho...this is the guy who played 4-2-3-1 with Pirlo and Seedorf as the CM's we're talking about LMFAO
And we saw how well Leo did against Inter that year...oh right...we were massacred left and right

Right...except Allegri won a scudetto with us while Leo was too busy eating shit at Inter's bench

I don't care about your orgasms about creative players

TIM trophy will hopefully see him crouching in a group photo with Galliani-Agnelli-Quinzi standing behind and smiling benevolently.

Leo had Borriello, Allegri had Ibra. If you tell me these two are equally good then yes, Allegri is much better than Leo. Else wise, their level is similar.

Leo still had other players of quality.

A younger Seedorf, Nesta, Pirlo, Abbiati etc. Had an on-form Ronaldinho, Pato.

Yeah adding Zlatan, Robinho, Prince, Bommel, Cassano, Yepes, etc was completely meaningless

Yet he started Seedorf in almost every match...let's get real here

Allegri beat Barcelona with Muntari and Boateng....with freaking Muntari and Boateng
That owns everything Leo has done as a coach in his entire career
