I think what leaf's trying to say is that, yea we won the scudetto that year, but our teamplay wasn't the best. if you watched our matches, you'd know this. from this point, it just kept deteriorating season after season with the big stars and the senators leaving.

allegri's share of credit? well now that we don't have those big stars anymore and we're failing miserably, even with potential stars like balotelli, and seasoned vets like de jong and kaka' there is enough premise to question allegri's share of credit in that scudetto season.

there is nothing that you or your friends can do or say, that will change this.

So we won the scudetto that year. surely that makes everything we did that season great right? :fp: Yea this reminds me of Pharaoh's trolling. in hindsight now, I can see how he's correct. you people cant see anything but 5 minutes in front of your face. all you care about is

#WINNING.

the root of the problem? well naturally you all don't care enough to get your hands dirty and dig it up to get rid of it. I believe this is a channeling of galliani and co.

#WINNING ----->#WEAREFINEASWEARE

Now I'll sit back and watch people downgrade our Champions League titles.

Didn't that start happening a few weeks ago?

It was "we had an unlimited budget so Galliani building a CL winning team is easy"

Heresy.

almost to 1500 pages... allegri 2 thread juuuuust around the corner.. loolll

We were shit from 2003 onwards because we kept extending contracts and increasing wages and were blinded by CL titles and Scudetto :(

Obviously I didn't think it's all Ibra. Allegri had a great squad that year, the best in Italy. He also had world class defenders, great midfielders and three strikers who each notched 14 league goals. Ibra was the best attacker though. I'll be careful to state the obvious next time :mb:

But don't worry...one day I will explain literary devices like sarcasm, hyperbole, irony, satire etc. Until then stick to #taskforcing

Well, I think we all agree that this post means Dru can never call up quotes from the past again, do we not?

I might even bookmark it. :proud:

Ikita's post was very logically explained, and you guys just ridicule it? General, I am disappointed in you too as you used to be a logical reasoning poster but I can see what forum does to people. 2010 we probably had same wage as Barca, yet we got eliminated by Tottenham first round. What we are trying to criticize is the fine as we are mentality(galliani's inactions since 07) that has brought us here today.

He wasn't even saying anything in his post.

No one can change what he and his friends think, WHAT!? oh noes...

Hell bent on changing others opinion, but clearly state he himself won't budge an inch? Yea that'll work out.

Maybe you should add something useful next time instead of just trying to condescend General's input?

Moral hypocrisy at it's best, I wonder who's got the 5min memory span up in this joint.

Let the wall of fine whining continue.

That post wasn't logical at all. It was mostly conjecture.

The way I read it was:

winning turns us into "as fine as we are" which I am assuming he's trying to say we weren't THAT good in our scudetto winning season and allowed ourselves to become 'complacent' in a sense.

yeah yeah yeah..

Anyone who downplays our success in an attempt to show how unsuccessful we are now is doing it wrong.

I have no problem with someone saying 'we didn't continue to build on our success' but to downplay the actual success is just someone being frustrated with the way we are now. No way around that. Ikita's post is a variation of 'Allegri sucks and it was all Ibra', 'Galliani sucks and it was just easy with an unlimited budget when no one else was spending like that in the 90's'

Sometimes you have to just stand up for principles even though it's unpopular. I'm not going to just agree with anyone taking a crack at Milan's lack of success right now. The popular mindset is the first thing I try and discount before I agree with anything. Try it sometime. Right now the popular mindset is a shotgun approach at anything Milan. 'Fuck G,B,Allegri, the new coach decision, fodder players.. oh and fuck the titles - they weren't good, fuck our stadium it's a shithole blah blah blah blah.

and to Berlusqoni's point... my post didnt' say anything at all. It was mostly questions for Ikita.. lol..
ya- i guess you want me to jump on your bandwagon. Naw.. not today.

I still think Allegri has to finish the season. We should concentrate on beating Atletico Madrid and winning the Coppa Italia, which will grant CL play-offs. The league is already lost, and giving this team to Inzaghi (unexperienced) will only mean fighting to avoid Serie B.

It would grant an EL spot.

That is the new AC Milan apparently. But its not the club I grew supporting.

conjecture? alter-ego? fine whining?

lol....as long as it makes all of you sleep easy at night, strokes your dicks and pacifies your blunt egos, that fine.

cuz like, we're as fine as we are.
