He refused the biggest role someone ever offer him after end of carrier in milan so.... And he also didnt help when club needed... Instead of he went to media ... "I would have given my all for a serious project"

He's asking for the most powerful role in the sporting side of management.

Nope, you don't know that. There are more options than just 1 person who makes the final decision. Again, he wanted more guarantees.

Sooner or later Paolo will be back at the club he loves, fans must put pressure on the new owners to make it happen sooner.

If it's not genuine, it doesn't need to happen. Maldini is a wise and smart businessman, he'll do the right thing. He has other successful projects in his life unlike some people in here think.

Maldini in Milan will always be genuine.

This whole situation (from what we know) was just handled poorly, from both parties.

New owners SHOULD have given him a more important role now that they were offering him one.

Paolo shouldn't be this stubborn.

Guarantees that he would have most say in sporting matters. He made it clear he as the technical director doesn't want to be subordinate or equal to the sporting director in sporting matters. That would make his role the most powerful role in the sporting side of management.

I blame Fassone. He should have approached Maldini BEFORE Mirabelli.

I don't know how it would have played out, but Mirabelli was promoted from chief scout to DS. I think he still would have felt a DS with a boss like Maldini would have been a promotion as well. Everybody wins?

The point of contention became how would Fassone allow Maldini to squeeze out Mirabelli AFTER they agreed on his role, etc. Not fair.

Sigh.
It's all there in his statements. Paolo has made it clear on more than one occasion he wants to be the sporting director. That's the job he was denied by Galliani, according to Paolo himself. If this technical director is subordinate to the sporting director in the sporting aspect then he doesn't want that role. He also doesn't want overlapping roles.

What guarantees?

maybe just mayyyyyyyyybe it will make Paolo and the new owners think about their recent horrible decision making.

because right now, everyone's just quiet about it.

Yes, THAT'S the spirit. I didn't even think about our own twitter account (we got only like 70 followers  but if they all share...)

Wesley got the login, I don't remember the password.

Wesley!!

---

who's gonna write the petition?

it shouldn't be the pathetic type where we either beg paolo or get mad the new owners.

just a text that tells them both to get their shit together and make this work. the new owners are our future, who better than Maldini to take with us from the past?

Was Mirabelli even first pick for Fassone? There was a rumour that he wanted some other interista and didn't get him ... anyone?

I'll start following and we'll have 71 followers

Indeed, it can't be too cheesy nor peasantry.

The appointed ones should write the texts and we should vote for them, or let sage decide.

Jasper has the greatest skill of the pen. He can hold it like no one else!
Or hitman, he's my second favorite.

And if he doesn't listen, let lemoncookie/swagger go full rage
