CR7 I think would have a harder time. Stam was quick and strong for such a big guy. Messi is more nimble and moves laterally far more.....either way both would have a tough time.

I think Nesta and Maldini would give both the most trouble. Maldini actually faced a young CR7 before and wasn't too shabby

For me it was watching him in that one season he spent at Barcelona. To go there as a 19 year old kid and absolutely tear it up was amazing.

Also remember in those times you were only allowed 3 non eu players which meant he had to work with a lot of iberian fodder.

This game was a classic example of just how much of an impact he had there.
