Silvio Berlusconi Demands Improvement From Milan
Berlusconi is not happy with the way Milan are playing under Leonardo

http://goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2010/02/18/1796202/silvio-berlusconi-demands-improvement-from-milan
what a moaning little bitch he has become in recent years :head:
no money, no party - he knows that very well, but he's still trying to pass the blame to coaching staff. Saying that this team has everything possible to win something is just insane. I don't think he even knows our roster anymore...
At this moment I would welcome any sheikh, Russian oil-tycoon or Chinese weapon-dealer with open hands if he's ready to invest some serious cash in this team that has been long forgotten by his owner.

Berlusconi has always been a bit delusional otherwise he wouldn't try sleeping with 20 year old women all the time no wonder he falls asleep at public events. I really don't think berlusconi watches milan that often otherwise he wouldn't make so many ridiculous comments i can't imagine how he could ever blame the manager man utd have spent something in the region of 220 million pounds in the last 4 seasons while we have spent close to 130 million pounds mostly on the wrong players. How are we going to overcome that type of advantage the only player of real consequence that man utd have sold in recent years is ronaldo while we have waved goodbye to kaka and shevchenko and brought in the likes of ronaldinho and oliveira to replace them.

He must be high. Due to the lack of investment in the squad thats why we are in this position.

Would it be worth it? I fear the day without Berlu in command myself. Milan have build something thats unique over the years. Milan is club based on respect and gratitude towards their former heroes.

Just look at the Sheva situation . It was not like Milan actually needed him, but Milan brought him back anyway as a token of gratitude after many wonderful years together.

How many clubs would do that?

+1, that's the point, he's not giving him any money for good players that we need, so he shouldn't moan now when we don't win every game. He shouldn't blame Leo for everything, he's doing his best with the squad, it's not his fault that we don't have a striker who gets every ball into the net, or that we don't have good enough backups for every position. Berlu that's really not Leo's fault, you have to blame yourself for that :head:
And btw, what's this bullshit about our playing style :conf: I think Berlu never watches any of our games, this attacking football is wonderful to watch, we create tons of chances. We just don't have someone to finish off every of those chances, but that's not really Leo's fault.

I hardly think he demanded improvement. Try reading the original article first folks before succumbing to goal.com's frenzy inducing headlines. :o

Still, with the financial support (or lack thereof) he's given Leo this year he should shut his mouth.

PS- too many big words from me in this post.

Leo has very little to work with, Berlu needs to shut his mouth in this case. He was the one who in all likelyhood canceled out the Aly Cissihko deal because he wasnt a name that Berlu felt could be marketed, so they teeth garbage came out of nowhere. We could have gotten potentially a top LB for 10 years, and he would have fit us perfectly. Berlu doesnt realize that if we add top talent that is younger that they become marketable names when we win.

I read everywhere headlines like" Berlusconi attacks Leo" etc and I would really hate it if we lost Leo. Leo himself said that being a coach isn't one of his career priorities so I hope he will be offered some role again within Milan after he quits his coaching career.

On the other hand I hope he wins a bunch of tittles with us so there won't be any need to quit!

Berlusconi does some things lately I don't like a lot. But I agree, Leonardo is doing a good job for a first season coach, and I see prospect in him, and besides that, he is an awesome scout, one who should remain at the club.

Milan CEO Adriano Galliani Mulls Over Defection To Juventus - Report
The director has reportedly had enough of criticism from Berlusconi...

Adriano Galliani is considering stepping down as chief executive of Serie A giants Milan and could assume an executive role at Juventus, according to Il Riformista newspaper.

It is suggested the 65-year-old’s relationship with club president and Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has strained considerably in recent months, and the loan signing of Brazilian winger Amantino Mancini from city rivals Inter in January was the last straw.

Berlusconi admitted he was baffled by the decision to bring in a midfielder instead of an out-and-out forward, implicitly launching a broadside at Galliani, who is also in charge of the Diavoli’s transfer policy.

Galliani is allegedly pondering whether to quit the club at the end of the season and might make a sensational switch to Juventus, who would jump at the opportunity to hire an experienced executive who has made the Rossoneri one of the best football clubs in the world over the past 25 years.

Galliani has been the chief execuive of the San Siro outfit since Berlusconi took over the Rossoneri in 1986 and also acts as vice-president.

If Galiani leaves it would be a massive blow to Milan. He has so much experience and is well respected within the football world.

Throwing people under the bus is never a good idea even more so when its people who are working their asses off for you with relatively poor tools.

Berlu is going crazy in his old age!:head:

He is just pissed because his squad full of 'champions' can't beat Utd and are not first in the league.

He lives in a fantasy world.

Think all of this is just speculation. Every time Berlusconi makes a silly comment there's a million rumours about every single coach replacing Leo, now the same thing is happening to Galliani. Hope it's not true though, cause you can't have some green guy being a GM, look at what's happening with Juve.

Don't really know what to make of Berlusconi's comments, but I'm not that upset. He's never been one to stay quite for long.

Yeah but at least in the pass he used to open his wallet and shed out some bucks, basically putting his money where his mouth is. Now all he has is mouth and expects Leo to weave gold from hay.

Berlu's commitment level to the team is at an all time low. He speaks of how the team is great, amazing and how he wants them to win everything, but doesn't give them the tools they need to succeed and then throws people under the bus when they fail to deliver.

Time to sell Berlu. New owners should keep everyone in place, Galliani, Braida & Leo and all the coaches. Let Galliani be the face of the team. Galliani just needs a few bucks to make this team into a winner. He knows the players we need and how to get them. Berlu is the ass that has been blocking really the progress of this team for the past 3 years.

Galliani would leave for the same reason that Ancelotti left. Lack of support from upper management. i.e - He told Berlu what he needed and Berlu stomps on it, says that the team is great and expects trophies.

What a head case!

maybe now berlu will get more involved and try to fix things.the champions league is our most realistic target. all i ask of berlu now is to just motivate the players to get the win and go through to the next stage, and anyways galliani said its not true, but who knows??

Berlu's an f'n ass clown and needs to shut his stupid face.

What Leo has done with this squad is short of a miracle especially being a rookie. My only beef with him is the changes or lack of in the Manchester game. Dorf should of came on for Becks as soon as Ant went out and Pipo for Hunt in the 60th.

Galliani leaving would be a disaster in the long term. If he goes Berlu might spend a lot to buy us some short term success to make it appear that Adriano was the problem all along. However unless we replace him with someone of similar experience (Moggi?), Berlu will again tire of spending huge amounts on players.
