I agree with some posters here. Berlu should question some of Galliani's decisions, such as the extending of Dida's contract, as well as other players who clearly do not deserve what they are getting. Berlu is a businessman, so he knows what he is doing ... regardless of the number of sleepless nights he's spent having orgies.

That said, I have great respect for Galliani. When I read the news the first time, I was feeling a little down. Gotta love him.

But from all this ordeal, there is something interesting that we can deduce. Seems like Berlu had no idea of the Mancini transfer, ACCORDING TO THESE REPORTS. If that is indeed the case, then WHO has the final say regarding our transfer activity? I was initially under the impression it was Berlu, but after the number of contract extensions, Mancini's transfer, etc. seems like Galliani is the brain behind our moves during the window, with perhaps consultation with Berlu regarding the bigger moves. What do you guys think?

i think when berlusconi decided to sell kaka, buy ronaldinho, KEEP pirlo, KEEP gattuso, not buying cissokho, not buying fabiano and that's why we buy huntelaar,
well, at that moment it went all wrong...:head::mad:

and guys dont think that berlusconi is some charity guy.
he helped milan to get trophies AND ac milan made his politican career.

He probably is the best president of a football club ever (or at least the most successfull),but the clichee says it all,no man is bigger than the club. If he has lost interest, just sell the club to someone who will actually try to get it to top again.

AWesome response Leo! With Leo making such comments it can only have 2 results: be real awesome for us, as in B actually spends.
Or the 1 I fear the most :head: we loose a great person

Fuck you Silvio.

You don't spend a dime, and now you say Milan should play better, and because of the management they don't?

That's just the way to cover your old insecure ass

20 february: Milan turnaround

20 FEBRUARY: MILAN TURNAROUND

20 FEBRUARY: MILAN TURNAROUND
2/20/2010 12:27:00 PM

It was 1986, Milan came out of a dead end and was taken over by a great Milan fan: Silvio Berlusconi. 24 years after that moment, his Milan are the most title-winning club in the world.

8177_news.jpg

(ON THE PHOTO: PRESIDENT SILVIO BERLUSCONI WITH THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WON IN ATHENS ON 23 MAY 2007)

MILAN - Exactly 24 years ago the calendar of 1986 saw a date that was destined to change the lives of Milan fans. On 20 February of that year Silvio Berlusconi saved A.C. Milan from a sad destiny and became its owner: the election to president would happen on 24 March 1986. But 20 February remains the date of the Turnaround. Milan's new history started after that date. The inimitable Rossoneri destiny wanted that it was the same date as the passing of the 'Parón' and started a new era: a passage of testimonies.

And so, with Silvio Berlusconi at the guide, after Nereo Rocco started bringing the club success, Milan's European Cups went from two to seven, the Scudettos from ten to seventeen, the World Cups from one to four, and so on with other international trophies, national trophies, Finals and Ballon d'Ors. The president that has won the most in the history of world football and his Milan, the most title-winning club in the world and its president: an inseparable binomium, from every perspective. President Berlusconi and his entire group will be able to be absolutely proud of the Rossoneri creature forever. Thank you President!

That's also what I fear, Berlu may say that he wants him to leave, but that would really hurt. I don't want Leo to go, he is great and if B wants to get rid of him I would be really disappointed and angry. I hope the first happens, that B actually really opens his wallet and let Leo get some much needed players. I hope that all that which is happening now ends in a good way because it's getting too much now and if it goes the wrong way it could end up in an awful fight between them and that is what I don't want.
So please solve every problem that is between you and stop this bashing, it really doesn't help, no it makes everything worse. :head:

Galliani after tonight's game:"The word 'Scudetto' is not in Milan's vocabulary. It is for other people to discuss."

hah, i went to find original article where berlu knocked Leo and googled his name. I found THIS gem:
Berlusconi: Italy's Doors Only Open to Pretty Immigrants
Saturday, February 13, 2010
PrintShareThis
Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi landed in hot water again after joking that Italy's doors were only open to attractive immigrants, The Sun reported Saturday.

The gaffe-prone politician, 73, held immigration talks Friday with Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

Berisha looked uncomfortable as Berlusconi joked at a press conference, "We will only accept pretty girls from Albania."

Opposition lawmaker Paola Pellegrini slammed the quip, calling Berlusconi "an indecorous old man."

Berlusconi was also facing a fresh sex scandal in his government Saturday as accusations that one of his right-hand men was offered "megagalactic" sex parties in return for illegally awarding public contracts, The Times of London reported.

Guido Bertolaso, 59, the head of the Civil Protection Agency, who became a national hero for overseeing the rescue efforts after the earthquake in Abruzzo last year, offered to resign twice this week after prosecutors said that he was under investigation over alleged sex parties and bribes for public contracts.

I don`t get why you`re posting this,Berlusconi has far more trophies as a president of Milan. He has been at the club far longer than Laporta, but that doesn`t matter,as you can`t predict how Barcelona will do in the future or if this man will even be there after a few years.

I post it exactly because of that, he has done a lot for this relative short time. Barcelona is doing great during all of this years during his presidency. The thing I like about Barca is they have a lot of players in their team from their school. I don't know how Milan who have one of the best school of football in the world don't do the same?

I lost the list.
They buy lots of under age players that show promise, then they put them in their school and say "canterano".

We'd have plenty of those but, we all know Berlu likes his women young and his men old.

I wrote this in Rumors commode because it's directly linked with that:

No Dzeko and Co.... I've just heard on TV, Berlu buy the bed of Napoleon Bonaparte (who was his idol). They don't tell the price but one person said the bed is Priceless!!!
That means we will buy Julio Baptista instead of Dzeko

That doesn't mean anything.Berlu is rich as fuck and ive seen on tv earlier that were still very much interested in Dzeko.

Isn´t that nice. I support it. So now his underaged girlfriends will have a nice, cosy bed to sleep in.

Maybe Berlu will get a visit from the ghost of the CL past, present and future and will change his mind (ghost will look like Paolo Maldini). That scrooge!

When we talk about that... Berlu immediately after he buy the bad wanted to make the bed wider... but others don't agreed with that because it may ruin the bed. It's real I'm not kidding at all!
