Galliani is now having lunch with the president of Doyen Sports (again). Vlado Lemic (FIFA agent) is also there.

Via Milanello.

Someone back there said that he doesn't know why everyone wants Zaccardo out so bad. I'd like to say why I want him out:
Zaccardo is a decent backup, good for Yepes role, versatile defender, I agree.
The thing is we have already Bonera with 2-years contract in our squad. He has everything what Zaccardo (versatile, has no problem with the bench, decent for league), and is more experienced in european cups. If we renewed with Bonera (don't know why), we doesn't have to keep Zaccardo. He occupies one spot in our team and I'm sure after his or Antonini's departure we would see a better player coming in - at least Astori or Ranocchia.
Zaccardo's crosses are impressive, but IMO he has no pace to fit in fullbacks positions in Milan. The only position where he can be actually important is CB, where Bonera isn't worse than him (again - IMO, as much as I don't like Bonera).

If we have to get rid of at least one defender - I'd prefer Zaccardo out than Antonini.

Interesting. A lot of sources said Lemić is Benfica's representative, what made our interest in Ola John more believable.
Now we know he isn't Benfica's man, so the deal with Doyen Sports (I'm 100% sure something is going on between Milan and Doyen and we're after their clients) doesn't have to be about Ola John.
And that's good - we don't need another LW, no matter how talented he is.

BTW: Lemić is Modrić's agent.;)

Galliani has said we want a 25 man squad for a few years now, but we always end up with 30-35(!).

If we can finish with a 27-28 man squad, it will be a good enough start for me.

Next year we can cull it some more.

so guys what are we getting honda now then or deffo in jan???

There are some reports that Honda's contract is a little different than the other contracts in Russia so he'll be a free agent in June next year.

That's why I wrote that Merkel's deal went great for Milan.:) However that doesn't change the feeling I felt when we gave him to Genoa for 50% of SES. Back then I felt that Milan is losing an already decent midfielder and great prospect for (only) great prospect, after few months Merkel was nothing and SES was great (I bet USC would say that Merkel lied about his age and that's why he is so weak now:fp:).
Now i feel that we lost a great prospect for 50% of a backup player. For now it's great, but who knows what will happen tomorrow. I hope that Galliani knows what Strasser is capable of.

That's so cute that you think about me in your free time, which leads to you posting about me with your own free will. Do you have me in your own personal burn book?

What about Babaev(CSKA director) that said if Milan don't give a fair offer we will have to wait until January when he goes for free ?

Fiorentina and Ljajic is close to an agreement, and could be finalized when della valle returns 1 August. They don't want another Montolivo
but there will be a buy out clause on maybe 12 mil€

my god some people here went full pedo...wtf is with all the strasser love? he's not good enough how can that not be obvious for everyone? he is not solid enough defensively and his ball distribution is really weak...he is not able to make passes longer than 15 meters...he has nothing to recomand him for milan beside the fact that he came from our primavera...

if we do not get him till he renews his contract no way we will get him after that...and if he stays another year in fio and they have a great year he might not be interessed anymore to come to us

Everything you has to know about Strasser's level is the fact that Genoa wanted him - while Traore has zero serious offers from clubs on Genoa's level.
that's a very strange argument.

I could say: "Everything you have to know about Traoré's level is the fact that Milan wanted him."

Nope, you couldn't say that, because Strasser didn't went to Genoa for free. They took him instead of 4 millions. That says everything.

roma are making some really solid deals...gervinho is by no means a world beater but i think he can do really good in seria a with his speed and dribbling...i know nothing about their coach but if he is solid roma could really pose a big threat for cl spots...napoli is really doing bad deals...callejon albiol martens reina...not really what adl wants for napoli, or that's just my oppinion...higuain is a good deal but they overpaid, and if they will get jackson martinez too that will be one good duo upfront tho they are similar players...but it seems they will overpay for martinez too...they spend allready like 80 millions but i do not see a really leap in quality in their team, actually i am more worried for what inter can do this year than this napoli team with a lot of spanish players who really never make it in italy...but mazarri can really make a good team at inter with just 1-2 players more...palacio icardi upfront with kovacevic behind them could really work for them...fiorentina was a good team last year but they are on the way of becoming a great team with the adition of gomez and joaquin...they lost jovetic but last year he was not their main star was more a group effort...hope we rise to the occasion this year and we get the players that we need to be able to compete...ola john is not the solution hope there is no truth in this rumours

Other than Ljajic, Vidic and Sakho, all the rest would be for squad depth imo.
Seriously? Mexes are Zapata are both better than Sakho and Serie A proven, at least for NOW. I am not talking about upside or future wise.

can i ask you again with no bad intetntions what merkel did after he left milan ,he is now worth what 3-4 mil max and ses is worth at least 35 mil
How much did he go to Udinese for. Honestly, as bad as our midfield, we should definitely look to strike a deal, loan with option to buy + 50% of some youth player to get him back.

No. It's only your imagination. Traore is and was shit, Strasser is bad only because injuries, he played some great games in Serie A.
Everything you has to know about Strasser's level is the fact that Genoa wanted him - while Traore has zero serious offers from clubs on Genoa's level.
Now, I read through a bunch of posts when I woke up so I am going to quote your simply because I want to comment, not singling you out or anything.

In response to your comment, I don't think Strasser is BAD. However, injuries definitely stunted his development. Against Lecce that year I remember he gave our midfield (namely Ambro) fits with his physicality and intercepted and won balls against ours (it was Ambro, Noce, and MVB that game). I honestly thought he would be a good player for us. But since his injuries and he came back to us, he never really looked promising again.

Also, teams want Strasser over Traore because of Traore's ungodly wage, not because a lack of ability.

I know you disagree with USC about his age thing. But the thing about Strasser is that he stopped getting better. Regardless of his age. Maybe a change of scenery is what he needs.

Nope, you couldn't say that, because Strasser didn't went to Genoa for free. They took him instead of 4 millions. That says everything.

Have to disagree with you again: remember when we gave HALF of Acerbi for HALF of Constant? And this is AFTER Acerbi's first half of season with us which was average at best.

I know transfermkt's value are a bit off but check this out,

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/francesco-acerbi/mwverlaufgraph/spieler_131075.html

http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/rodney-strasser/profil/spieler_88712.html

Again, im not using these figures to say Strasser sucks, but you cannot say that Genoa took him instead of 4m means he is good.

Someone in MilanNews said that Galliani want to buy any player from Serbia, now i can see that Lemic is Serbian.

Serie A will be attractive this year...

Llorente, tevez, higuain, gomez, reina, maicon and strootman are quite big names in football.
