Btw bibiany has score 21 goals and provided 26 assists in 140 games. Pretty good if you ask me.

I feel terribly bad for him, but Bonaventura is still a great signing for us. I hope Biabiany can play well this season so he can finally make it to a top club; whether it be us in Italy or abroad.

Bonaventura only is decent player, and he has to adapt with new role LCM, and I don't think Bonaventura will play in that position.

total fee still better than Bonaventura...6m + 2m = 8m when he will be 25 as you mention...Bonaventura 25 year still 5m...

I would play menez over honda due to his unpredictability, pace and dribbling skills which would be very useful for us in wide positions to be specific. I prefer to see honda behind the strikers or in midfield tbh.

Honda de jong van ginkel seems like a solid combo.

Arrivals:

- Bonaventura? I have not watched him too much however the times did he was either good or MIA for Atalanta.

- Van Ginkel? He has nothing to do with us because even if he explodes with us, we are not going to shell out more than 10+ million for him.

- Torres? Everything depend of him. If he is good enough, our mercato grade would be around 7-8, if he doesn't probably 4-5

Departures:

- Balo? While he was the most talented player from us, Balo also was a tactical disaster while playing.

- Cristante? Mixed emotions about this one. I think the kid has a great future. I do not understand why get Van Ginkel (gone after 1 season) and keep Essien (Thanks G ). However, like somebody pointed out he should have stayed and fight for his place on the pitch.

To be fair, there has NEVER been anything wrong with picking up free players, the issue was the quality we picked up, the wages they were given and the fact we didn't really address our actual needs. We continually for free, ill fitting players, over spending on what we needed... then there was spending actual cash on Matri and such.

I'd give the mercato a 7.5...

Goalkeeper, deffo an upgrade, but we picked up Agazzi, why???!!! Waste of a wage and a place on the bench!!!

Defenders, again an upgrade, but we've still got Zach, who is only here because of G's stupid wage offer... Again, a waste of a wage and place on the bench, would have loved to get rid of him and pick up Vrsaljko. Are we better, yes!!!

Midfield, again we've upgraded, do we have real quality, probably not, but we're compact and mobile and have players that can compliment one an other... I fear we'll come undone against better teams, or not be able to unlock some teams... But again its an upgrade

Attack, I'd say Menez could be a great signing for us, if Honda is played in the middle he'll come good, and SES needs to step up... I didn't want Balo to leave, but that was more to do with the fact he's a Milan man, to have a Milan fan leading our line, being the face of a new Milan, would have been nice... But I do think his time was up, and its time to move on. Torres, we've not signed him, which I'm glad, but its up to him now, while I hope for the best from him, I'm dubious he'll do the job... Only time will tell...

My main fear, is we do ok this year, then get the usual "fine as we are" crap next Summer, and welcome back all the fodder that's out on loan, have a big squad, and the likes of Torres, Zach, munt and Essien, actually stop us signing good youngsters... Till then though, Forza Milan

our season will depend on one factor... whether or not we can win the BIG GAMES. Super Pippo is super big dick pippo when its prime time. if we can win those games against Juve/Roma/Nap/Inter/Fio guaranteed we will be in contention for the scudetto no doubt. I have a lot of faith in this team, and have even more faith in a club hero such as Pippo.
