I hope he does well. So far, the only similarity with Messi and Maradona I see is the height. You can see he has something of Dybala too, the face.

I have been thinking of something. So people think Maldini did a horrible job right? If i'm not wrong he took the director role for around 4 years.

During that time he signed Theo/Rafa/Maignan/Tomori/IBRA/Kjaer/Giroud/Benn/Tonali ect ect and got a top scout like Moncada and massive investments in youth sector .

We won a Serie A and got CL Semis. Went from a hopeless squad who punched above our weight to having a decent spine of players.

I don't see any signing of the level Maldini got yet (Theo and Maignan are actually world class, Rafa and Tomori on the cusp ect).

Our best signing so far is Tij which is around Bennacer level, next best is Pulisic which is performing similar to prime Milan Rebic, the rest haven't made a difference yet.

It bothers me because whats going on is being built on the shoulders of what Maldini actually did and I see posters regularly disrespecting him.

Do they even remember BANTER ERA?

Sacking him was a mistake, his biggest flop wont even cause a loss in the books (CDK) and was he even a flop 1 season is too little to judge a player, Kessie was trash for two seasons?
What he did wrong was not selling Calha and Donna before (We needed Kessie for scudetto so that was ok) but he did show Milan is bigger than players and put his balls on their forehead. The rest is a respectable amount of flops considering our budget.

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini

I hope Ibra steps on his little rat face and kicks him in front of an oncoming train.

People have it easy to talk now that he fixed the horrendous issues after the Yonghong Li shitshow. Look at ManU and see if it's easy to do what Maldini did and with what budget.

Get this guy ASAP!

AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Icelandic international Albert Gudmundsson during the January transfer window.

According to TWM, the Rossoneri are looking to add an attacking player to their squad, and Gudmundsson is seen as a potential target. The 26-year-old winger is currently playing for Genoa in Serie A, where he has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 18 appearances this season.

Gudmundsson is also reportedly being tracked by Juventus, Napoli, and Aston Villa. He is valued at around €18 million.

Fun fact: His Great-grandfather used to play for Milan in the 40s:proud:

Genoa isn’t that safe yet in the relegation battle.

Can’t see them sell this guy for a reasonable price after already letting go of Dragusin.

Why would we even want him, 26yo, 1,77m and his first noteworthy season. He has scored 20 goals in 66 league games for Genoa, 11 of them in Serie B. We may as well use Jovic, Jovic is even half a year younger.

Edit: He has scored one header in his career, and that in Eredivisie :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

We would've never gone after Terracciano or Buongiorno if they didn't change the growth decree rule.
This is true, but to be honest, I’m happy we are getting more Italians in the team. Seeing the national team with zero Milan players wasn’t great.

More importantly, imo Italian players will be more likely to turn down lucrative moves to foreign clubs and stay with us (unless they know they have sinned and our likely to get banned, therefore accept said move to prevent damage to their club)

Buongiorno is immense. He has some meathead moments, but overall he's been exceptional for Torino. And if I'm being frank, recalling Gabbia was unnecessary with Theo playing so well at CB, Jimenez being a mini revelation on the left, and now bringing in Buongiorno? I guess cover is nice, but we're going to have way too many defenders here, even for a back 3, once everyone's back fit. Chopping and cutting will be in order this summer.
I think next year, Simic will play in B team along with Zeroli, and maybe Chaka, Sia, etc.

Our CB unit will be AB, Thiaw, Tomori, Kalulu, Gabbia

LB Theo + new, RB Calabria + Terra

Damn! That’s how he looks now?

My football world is so limited to Milan … I still have that teenager image of him.

I have been watching a bit of Madrid and Liverpool lately after we got knocked out of CL.

Gotta say it’s been fun. Both incredible fun teams to watch with incredible managers.

I loved the FA Cup match when Klopp exposed that overrated coach in Arteta. Seeing Arteta and Ten Hag get exposed is just beautiful.

I don’t know how people just stick to watching Milan purely or in some cases just Serie A. It can get depressing when we aren’t doing as well.

It just happened overtime…then other obligations came and made it worse.

A Milan game is the only thing I can plan watch…meaning, at x time I have to turn on this channel/app … everything else I watch, which is not much else, is by convenience and on my phone.

Yeah it’s the same for me unless Ancelotti is playing Barcelona/Atletico or big teams in CL.

I also plan to sometimes watch Liverpool vs City or Arsenal if it’s on a good time

It’s bs, same as with Ngonge or whatever his name
A player is having first good season in his career and his agents start to offer him to everyone and spread rumours
