Brassier reminds me Faivre. Mediocre player who we want to buy only because he is relatively cheap and it’s hard to get someone good in January
We got Tomori in January.

I never understand our luck with Argentine players. Biglia was bossing with Lazio and became the most useless player here like wtf.
My favorite player of Banter era was Menez. Deulofeu - Menez - Suso was so fun

I always hated De Jong

Montolivo was good in his first season but after the injury he turned into a cancer

Andrea Longoni says in all this Red Bird-PIF talk to keep an eye on Massara. He's being courted by Roma to return there as SD since Pinto is leaving.

If he doesn't go to Roma, that could mean he may return to Milan if a sale materializes with his ties to Maldini. Or he may choose the for sure option in Roma & a possible sale may not be close in the short term or it could be something gradual over time.

Two mistakes made during the banter era was not keeping Deulofeu & Pasalic.

They didn't play together though? Deulofeu was after Menez left IIRC. It was Cutrone and Lapadula we had then instead.

Out for a walk.
08-13 Montolivo is better than any midfielder we've had since, well, him. If we had him over Aquilani in 11-12, we'd have won the title. Alas, he came a year late, and exactly as the banter era took over (we just didn't know it quite yet). It'd have been nice, too, if he hadn't have suffered several catastrophic injuries over the course of his contracts with us. Ultimately, he was a majestic player in his prime, but with injuries and shit teams surrounding him, he failed pretty hard here.

the only mistake that's worth remembering was not replacing pato with tevez. that is what led us into the banter era. that changed everything.

but rest assured R&B milanisti, if you miss montolivo, bonaventura, de sciglio, deulofeu, pasalic we may soon head back into a new banter era. we just need to let go of moncada.

Crespo is an outlier and let's not act like he was doing that well in Serie A.
Did you not see him playing for Parma?

I was talking about Argentine players playing for Milan not general. Inter always had amazing Argentine players
"let's not act like he was doing that well in Serie A."

Montolivo was a beta shrimp mediocrity, for me the very essence of the banter era. I celebrated his departure.

And no, he didn't have a "great season" at Milan. He was a symbol of crushing decline and a weak and insecure leader.

Always hated how he was playing as the 6 and would constantly leave his position to show off his aggression. Would constantly leave the backline exposed

and in general was terrible in every aspect of the sport outside his tackling/aggression

I liked him for us
You missunderstand Crespo is a Legend in no way did badly for us, and he's an outlier of Argentine players doing well in AC Milan. I do think he underperformed in Serie A compared to his Parma and Lazio days, but still amazing striker.
All I'm saying is we had little luck with Argentine players compared to Inter.
