On his day, which is like 8 times a year, Calabria plays out of his mind. The rest of the time, when he is playing, he's mediocre to bad. He's simply too meh most of the time, as well as injury-prone, to justify a massive wage increase. I like him. He's a good captain. I know what you’re saying, but a more accurate statement would be ‘we could own Zirkzee for a year by selling Calabria for around 12m’.

I think the statement about getting a coach from outside Italy is probably based on growth decree concerns. If it gets extended in some way, it opens the door again to RDZ and possibly Conte or any number of foreign coaches we haven’t yet been linked with.

Zirkzee is already on the growth decree and maybe lots of other foreign options are as well, it were expecting a growth decree extension. I really feel like the CF has to be on the growth decree, its too expensive a position not to make that almost a prerequisite.

Just checked and Motta came to Italy in October 2019 after more than two years away. He’s almost certainly on the growth decree too, although he has been on it for 5 years already and maybe only has a few years left.

Still he should get a warm goodbye. He might became the villain this past year but nobody cant deny the work and things he gave us for the past 5 years. He brought us back where we belong (back to back CL group stages, and top 4 contenders every year). He also gave us an identity back in the days with our pressing and style of play. Also he broke some records but also gain some negative ones but in the end i think he made more good than bad without a doubt.

He will always be remembered especially from my pov as one of the best managers i`ve seen in Milan (im a fan since 03') and also as a really likeable person. From #PioliOUT to #PioliIsOnFire is history..and some years that i really value for the history of our club.

Grazie Stefano and if you'll really be gone..lets make those last rides the best ones. Lets smash Roma and get to that final ( would be the perfect wrap for his work here ) and also smash the unknown side of Milano + win again at that shoe box of a stadium that juve has just like you made us win there for the first time in our history 3 years ago.
