That we are talking about these changes while also assuming our players all come back from international break ready to play is nonsense. Probably the biggest if should be Pulisic… not just for jet lag and late arrival; but, because he plays against 2 teams who regularly try to cripple him with referees who - by any other region’s standards - allow war crimes to occur on the pitch.

We really should assume he comes back to us beaten up. If so, is Fonseca going to end up rotating 4 or 5 starters?

Do you know how many times this exact scenario happened to Pioli and everyone blamed him. Maybe not so blatant, like in the Fiorentina game, but trust me the players lost more than a handful of games for Pioli last year and he got shitted/shat on hard.
