this motta downfalllosing the job to juric is rough
Don’t they know he acheived 6 points back from 1st place at one point last season?
this motta downfalllosing the job to juric is rough
We need great players forget wannabe leadersWhat are your non trash affordable leaders who fill all of our positions of need?
Players like Modric, Griezmann, Isco would be good examples in the current market
You don’t target players who play for Leverkusen
Oshimen is available and would be the much better choice. Actually we should push for him and have Gimenez as our other striker. Why is management not all over him?
People act like us improving is hard but it’s a question of willingness to fund the right mercato.
I guess he feels compelled to state the obvious because there was a lot of pro-Moneyball sentiment here during the Pioli era.you didn't need to type all this to post the most unoriginal thought on this forum
I think we should just keep Santi. I think he has some injury and fitness issues early on.Yeah but Allegri practically destroyed him at Juve. And now he's supposed to be Allegris wet dream?
Very weird link IMO.
A cripple, and an overrated twat?Modric and Xhaka is exactly what we need in midfield. Wish they were a bit younger though
He's not AlbanianAlbanian npuberty here just doesn’t like Xhaka because he chose not to represent that back water ass goat fucking country.
Yup another shit ’’leader’’ like Montolivo
I don’t know how you posted this and thought this would be a good argument for him
1. He fails to lead his own teammates because nobody respects this fool
2. He throws his teammates under the bus
Anybody can run his mouth like that even without getting paid millions.
As the captain he is the first one that should take responsibility for the loss.
What a joke dude.
Here’s the problem with modern Milan fans
They barely remember our glory era and some of them even became fans during banter era
They believe the myth of gradual improvement from underdogs to champions that is present in Hollywood movies
They think with persistence and hard work and low-risk investment we can go back to previous heights
This is why they get so invested on mediocre players who come here and think they will improve and in just a couple of years they will become world class and win CL and Scudetto every year
But here’s the reality:
If you go and look back while Milan had some great youth players they won mostly thanks to spending big money on signings
Van Basten, Gullit, Rijkaard = Bought from Dutch league
Ancelotti = Bought from Roma
Tassotti = Bought from Lazio before Silvio
Boban = Bought from Dinamo
Savicevic = Bought from Red Star
Lentini = Bought from Torino world record transfer back then
Donadoni = Bought from Atalanta
Desailly, Papin = Bought from Marseille
Weah = Bought from PSG
Baggio = Bought from Juventus
Bierhoff = Bought from Udinese
Leonardo = Bought from PSG
Serginho = Bought from Sao Paolo
Shevchenko = Bought from Ukraine
Inzaghi = Bought from Juventus
Rui Costa = Bought from Fiorentina this remained the transfer record for Milan for decades
Nesta = Bought from Lazio
Kaka = Bought from Sao Paolo
etc.
I couldn’t list all of them here but you get the point
And majority of these players we bought in their 20s
Milan won because it was a money club
Milan needs a rich owner who is willing to invest in a Galacticos-like project to bring back the club to relevancy
We cannot continue with this pathetic ownership
We do not have the money to compete with wealthier clubs . That time is over , unless some rich Gulf country does not want to make a political statement . Similar to what Berlusconi did . We have to use Moneyball .I guess he feels compelled to state the obvious because there was a lot of pro-Moneyball sentiment here during the Pioli era.
To me it was always obvious that we needed to splash the cash but other posters like Sam and brk kept pointing out that there were big money flops everywhere (also true). But that was also part of the effort. Pep had lots of players who didn't really justify the price. Same as Mourinho at Chelsea.
So back then (not sure if the pro-Moneyball ppl are still around) that was a thing. Truth be told, I was hoping that Moncada would have been a great moneyballer. But it's waaay more difficult to do irl. Emerson was shit at Tottenham.....so the odds he would have been great for us are very small. Kyle Walker was declining at City....continued to be underwhelming here. Morata has NEVER been a volume scorer (Maldini tried this shit with Origi) etc.
My dad always says "good thing ain't cheap"
In the end, you'll probably end up spending the same amount on a ton of hit-and-hope players, most of whom end up being shit - than the couple of GOOD players you actually need. See also coaching staff.
I get that I am preaching to the choir here also
I suppose losing the final by 5-0, jobbing to Fonseca and Conceicao and only winning one scudetto once in 4 years is competitiveInter has proven that a selling club can in fact be very competitive.
Smart man, keep him.Emerson Royal is not believed to be part of AC Milan’s plans, and he has told his agent where he would like to move.
This makes me so fucking hard!!!

You underestimate the power of experience.I mean Inter situation isnt looking rosy but we also have (until proven against it) a dinosaur for a coach, a team that all of our best players gave up on, and our main signing is a 40 year old.
I wouldnt laugh at inter.
Can you answer my question?We need great players forget wannabe leaders
Modric is enough as leader
You can’t be a leader at Milan without credibility
You target respected world class players who have won the CL or World Cup or at least a ton of domestic trophies and make them leaders
Players like Modric, Griezmann, Isco would be good examples in the current market
You don’t target players who play for Leverkusen
People here think Kjaer was a leader
Only Ibra was a leader because he’s a proven winner and because the other players were afraid he would kick their asses

But he’s old and shitty and smells like KebabHe's not Albanian
Vlahovic was awesome at Fiorentina where he played closer to goal, has a good shot and good free kick taker. In an off season and often benched still scored 15 goals and 5 assists in all competitions. Only 25 but more proven, and with Serie A experience, an upgrade over Gimenez, imo. The problem is what do you do with Santi unless we play with 2 strikers?xhaka, vlahovic and cambiaso are trash
any other Serie A club signs any of those 3, and the reaction here would be "WTF ARE WE DOING!?" 100%
No Koreans on AC Milan thank you very much.
We just need to come together and put down the guns broYou make it sound so simple![]()
Tare will bring him 100%Kicker reports Milan want Xhaka
I'd love em he's been amazing for Leverkusen
Guns down, gas upWe just need to come together and put down the guns bro
