What makes you think I want him as a replacement for leao lmaoSaelly last year Vs Chiesa last year?
You answer that
I wasn't asking for Darwin btw but he is a 9 that was favoured practically all the time over Chiesa who was the new guy brought in.
That was my only point.
If we are moving on from if if if players, why return to another one?
As I said in another post I would take him as a sub, not as a replacement for Leao.
Not that great stats for Serie B anymore, but should have bought him at some point in hindsight.i know a decent guy, if we are only looking at G+A and bringing home the numbers…

It is not an excuse to not be a professional . Specifically he is on decline for two years already . I do not know the reason , but the management can not be an excuse for that . He is a grown up person . Professional player so for sure he must know that his form and attitude are bad . What he did to change that ? Rebellion . Was sent to the substitutes in order to clear his head . The next coach call him back . He was playing not bad a few games and then has a late night concert before the important game . His form continue to to decline .I do not disagree with Theo’s attitude, yes he could have been much more professional. The better thing to do would be to give your best, put in decent performances, attract good clubs, then leave in the way Tonali and Reijnders did. Or work hard quietly like Pulisic and endure, and keep people guessing your next move.
MVB mentally stronger and more professional, I respect and won’t deny that. Also, people from that generation and this generation think and act quite differently. About the company/job analogy, it is just to emphasize that leadership and environment matters in any organization/any industry. You cannot be unprofessional, allowing dysfunction at the top and expect commitment and respect from others. Checks and balances go both ways. It would have make sense to fully blame Theo if the management was showing effort to try to do the right things and behave professionally.
They have always been at war. But I have seen the normal public get along. It’s more government issues. We have Pakistanis and Indians in our team and both are like real close. Apparently North Indians or north west near Punjab and stuff can speak the same language as Pakistanis do anyway.Indians and Pakistanis have been at war on this forum....truth be told....I can't tell them apart
And I'm part indian![]()
Are we really selling our best player for 55m???? FFSLast day as️ for Reijnders: in the next few hours medical visits and signature
on the contract that will tie him to Manchester City until 2030 (7 million per season). Milan will collect 55 million immediately and will be entitled to 15 million in bonuses. Painful transfer
Longo
Very painful![]()
That's how I read your initial post - it's why I commented. What makes you think I want him as a replacement for leao lmao
For leao I would want gittens or quenda etc
Ideally fucking Nico Williams or a barcola
Chiesa I repeat as a sub not leao replacement
Come on man.........Reijnders likely wanted to leave. Hard to imagine we wouldn't play hard ball with other clubs for our best player, but with Tare and now Allegri, professionalism just went through the roof. I think we're attempting to rebuild trust between management and the squad, even if it's with a player we're selling, respecting their wishes is the professional thing to do. And we're still making good money on the sale. It's up to us to reinvest it wisely.
We're unable to get funds from el presidente, and it seems we're unable to get much for Theo or Mike, so Reijnders for 60mil in the end isn't bad, since that can help us bring in at least two players of high quality. I don't want him sold, to be clear. But sacrifices have to be made. We're out of Europe with an owner who won't invest. Our transfer budget is entirely structured around sales/playing the wage savings game. Assuming we get back into CL next season, we can retain our best players next summer.Come on man.........
We are so professional now, that we're willing to fulfill a player's wishes and sell for a "discount" rather than play hardball (aka, get a good and proper value for the player who was just voted as best midfielder in Serie A)?
If Leao is out I want a world class player to replace himThat's how I read your initial post - it's why I commented.
I think you had Leao out and Chiesa and others in, no replacement.
Apologies.
Red and Black forum trusts management to sell Leao, Theo and Mike for enough money to replace them with equal or better players. Are we really selling our best player for 55m???? FFS
You forget we did the same for Kaka..Come on man.........

He's a very good role player. Very little technique though.I'll take Thorsby as back-up mid. Knows serie A very well, experienced, low wage.
This club is such a mess lmao
