You are Albanian too?
fIF is filled with Albanians too
Leaf’s team I.e
Where he belongs
Albanians are a lot like Italians, neighbors just across the Adriatic Sea. My father actually was part of the Italian troops that invaded the country in 1939. Remember a very censured letter received by my mother that said the will of il Duce is unshakeable and we will triumph.

Actually, my interested in history has a lot to do with family history that include that death of my paternal grandfather in WWI in 1916 at the age of 24, stories of a brief occupation from the Nazi and their retreat after being chased by the Americans on the way to the battle of Montecassino, the GIs welcomed with open arms by the people in WWII, the Germans hated.

Loved listening to war stories from veterans, one of my neighbors was taken prisoner by the Brits in Egypt and said had better food and clothes as a prisoner than a soldier. One time my town mayor begged the US authorities to keep Moroccan troops on the outskirts of town because they were ****** our local girls.

A drunken but funny old man told me of his experiences in the Spanish Civil war in favor of the monarchy that received troops from Hitler and Mussolini. He didn't learn much Spanish but loved to use the word "muchachas" and probably lied about romantic conquests of some of them. As a 7/8-year-old boy it was all so fascinating to me, and my love of history has never waned.

Fabulous in the Scudetto year. After that a liability... Cost us the CL with his antics. Just cash in and continue
Everything would be alright if each season we replaced scudetto players with new stars. From that time I remember only Tijani and Pulisić were very good transactions.

Total agreement with Mike.
But no agreement with Milan, who told them to pay up or fuck off. :taphead:
Since they refuse to pay up, well...
Go Away Do Not Want GIF

I wouldn't be too optimistic after Reijnders, bro. We're bad at selling.

[Longo] Back-story Maignan: deep disappointment with the 'old management' (not Tare and Allegri). CEO Furlani had reassured him about sorting out the contract as soon as he returned from Cardinale's trip to the USA, which did not happen.
That´s the story were we decided that we can´t/won´t pay him 5m without CL and after some errors of his, no? This sounds like we forgot about him, which is not the case as far as I know.

Good luck they have video evidence

All the shots Mike faces
Crazy fall off and he's still "young" for a keeper. In his first season I was certain we had found a future "Milan first 11 of the 21st century" gk

I don't actively want him to leave but there's some easy shots that as soon as I see leave the strikers foot I just don't expect him to get

Me too I went and bought a Mike jersey.

He saves lik a 5’10” gk everything is so surreal last few years. Fat ass makes you less aerodynamic but near post takes the cake.

What are we getting Chiesa to do???

You despise Darwin "the fraud" and they played him at winger before Chiesa.

Chiesa didn't even feature in enough EPL matches to earn the infamous 007
And Darwin would cost 50 mil despite being shir

Chiesa fills Italian useless quota and costs far less
Who will be back up for Leao?

Guess salad and you are ok with that?

Is it bad that I always confuse Mase and Nas? Not the music…the dudes

I feel it’s vaguely offensive.
Yea it’s normal
Just like how people get Lankans, Indians and Pakistanis mixed up.

Or Italians that looks like Albanians as our brother pippofan would say.

Lebs look like Jordan people etc

Bro, Milan is a name, a brand, and what makes it great are certain traditions, values, and class on top of footballing success. You can work for your favorite organization with an inspiring mandate, but if the environment is toxic, and the leadership/management does not respect or support your growth, you will potentially leave for a better opportunity, workplace elsewhere. You do it because you respect yourself, and for the well-being of your family etc.

We cannot force employees to stay at a company because, this is XYZ, your dream company, does not matter how we treat you, if you love the organization, stay with us regardless. Same goes for players whose careers span no more than 7-10 prime years on average. There are limits to everything. It is the job of the leadership/management to create a stable, positive environment for its constituents to thrive.

And we are living in this social media age. In the old days, you can ignore certain distraction and ask them to just focus on football. But the world has changed, players see and read the frustration of the fans, critics, ex-Milan legends etc., every now and then, and that definitely is not encouraging.

Out of many, one example - the way they handled Fonseca's dismissal just showed how disorganized/unprofessional and weak they are. Hopefully with Tare, the management aspect will improve, but the culture stems from the top, pretty much always.
What this has to do with the fact that one employee is trying to extort the company you like ? If you are not happy , feeling not appreciated , do not want to work there , you just leave . It is simple .
In the olden days , newspapers and TV will cut you piece by piece on pieces before even to start dealing with you . Would not even discuss what fans will do .
They can not hold critics ? Better to not be a public person in that case .
Fragile Theo ? World wide secret were the problems between injured Van Basten and demanding Capello . Yet Van Basten stay and have one of his greatest ever seasons under Capello , while Theo is trying to take a free check . Compare to both of them and their problems , he is just a meaningless unnoticeable average player with a childish behavior .

Saelly last year Vs Chiesa last year?
You answer that

I wasn't asking for Darwin btw but he is a 9 that was favoured practically all the time over Chiesa who was the new guy brought in.
That was my only point.

If we are moving on from if if if players, why return to another one?
As I said in another post I would take him as a sub, not as a replacement for Leao.

I guess because this one fills his purpose and has upside. He’s Italian and not expected to be a starter. If he magically returns to his peak levels it’s an excellent deal, if not he atleast isn’t screwing up the composition of the squad. Especially if it’s a loan with option.

I do not disagree with Theo’s attitude, yes he could have been much more professional. The better thing to do would be to give your best, put in decent performances, attract good clubs, then leave in the way Tonali and Reijnders did. Or work hard quietly like Pulisic and endure, and keep people guessing your next move.

MVB mentally stronger and more professional, I respect and won’t deny that. Also, people from that generation and this generation think and act quite differently. About the company/job analogy, it is just to emphasize that leadership and environment matters in any organization/any industry. You cannot be unprofessional, allowing dysfunction at the top and expect commitment and respect from others. Checks and balances go both ways. It would have make sense to fully blame Theo if the management was showing effort to try to do the right things and behave professionally.

of all the stupid things we’ve done, letting Dida go after the Scudetto season and replacing him with a literal English butcher to train Maignan is near the top
Dida had a personal tragedy so he had to leave. Mike became our tragedy.

Maybe pre flair Dida was playing for us in scudetto season
