You mean the club . Because he is not playing for the management but for Milan . They are selling him , not because they are balancing the books , but because not counting on him . Unless we do not sell him , he can not leave during winter . I do not see a clubs waiting for him . As a Milan fan , not Theo or a management one , but Milan , if he do that , Futuro substitute will be a good place for him , to clear his head and to have enough time to negotiate his new contract with the next club . I think he is already aware of that .
Bro, Milan is a name, a brand, and what makes it great are certain traditions, values, and class on top of footballing success. You can work for your favorite organization with an inspiring mandate, but if the environment is toxic, and the leadership/management does not respect or support your growth, you will potentially leave for a better opportunity, workplace elsewhere. You do it because you respect yourself, and for the well-being of your family etc.
We cannot force employees to stay at a company because, this is XYZ, your dream company, does not matter how we treat you, if you love the organization, stay with us regardless. Same goes for players whose careers span no more than 7-10 prime years on average. There are limits to everything. It is the job of the leadership/management to create a stable, positive environment for its constituents to thrive.
And we are living in this social media age. In the old days, you can ignore certain distraction and ask them to just focus on football. But the world has changed, players see and read the frustration of the fans, critics, ex-Milan legends etc., every now and then, and that definitely is not encouraging.
Out of many, one example - the way they handled Fonseca's dismissal just showed how disorganized/unprofessional and weak they are. Hopefully with Tare, the management aspect will improve, but the culture stems from the top, pretty much always.
