With all these sales and money it should be quite easy to form a competent squad if we were playing CL next year. Saddly thats not the case. The appeal isnt there now.

Example of how a chain of incompetent decisions results in even bigger disaster
Hired poor coaches and signed wrong players -> poor results -> overspent in winter to fix situation with no result -> desperate to sell to fix negative balance -> sell for low price
We did not overspend winter time . Players were loaned . We bought only striker with good price .

It's looking like an exodus of 2022 heroes at this point. Theo's situation seems quite stuck though. And will the club actually sell Leao?

Out of the three, Mike is my first choice of players to leave. First it was injuries, then it was inconsistent performances.

My expectation is that Mike and Theo will leave, and that the club keeps Leao for another season at least.

However much the club itself have created the situation with these players, we're past the point of no return and we need to regenerate a winning Milan. No looking back.

funny how for some, getting rid of the rot (theo and mike) is a sign of impending doom.
and for others, it's a sign we want to rebuild with a team of motivated players.

again why it is VERY important to wait for the market to unfold before giving judgement
Yep it’s divided the fanbase for sure! You can see both sides for sure

Yea not over 10 mil tho
They're talking about a swap with Salad, with a value of 30 for the keeper and 25 for our guy. I guess that would be good for the books or something. Roma asks for 30, anyway, which is not cheap, but he is very good imo.
I like the Cagliari keeper, Caprile that can probably be had for 10-12.

Giminez was bad purchase?

He had a g/a every 96min in the league. How on earth are people complaining about that? In a HORRID and underperforming team, no less.
Because he wasn’t prime Shevchenko from day 1.

When he scores his next brace prepare yourself for someone here posting a screenshot of his jersey in the Milanstore with a message saying, “should I do it mang?”

im ngl I cant ever tell the quality of serie a keepers cause they're all yashin against us
Lol bruv, I remember Berardi was tearing us a new one up front and Consigli had a Yashin like performance between the post. The very next game they played like absolute shit against a shit team, Consigli even made a blunder. Made me despise Sassuolo to the core.

Wondering if one of the youth keepers could step in ..we invested in some the last few years. Anyone knows how they are doing,?
Plizzari now at Pescara in Serie C saved 3 penalties yesterday on a shoot-out vs Abate's Ternana that promoted them to Serie B. Not sure if he's still owned by us but at some point Torriani got ahead of him.

This is what I’m waiting for too. Not because the management has earned any benefit of the doubt – they haven’t. But Tare and Allegri have.

That doesn’t mean we won’t call out the head-scratching moves along the way. Selling Reijnders for anything below 80M already feels underwhelming – and that’s after I lowered my expectations from 100M thanks to @papaberlu s posts. Maignan for 15M? Meh too, honestly.

But whatever’s waiting at the end of this tunnel – sunshine or storm – we won’t know the weather until we step outside of the tunnel by the end of this Mercato. And only then we will be able to judge it.
