I have never seen anything like what happened to us before. How the hell did all of our key players stopped working hard, and loosing their hunger to succeed? How the hell did they become lazy? For fucks sake, I can understand it in case of players like Casemiro, Varane, etc, who are serial winners, and won like 15 trophies. We only won 1 scudetto... Maignan, Theo, Tomori, Bennacer, etc all seems like they lost all of their hunger.

It is such a disappointment to see. I like what we are doing now. We need a rebuild, a new core of players. At least we have a good attack in the Leao-Gimenez-Pulisic trio, but from midfield and defense, only Fofana and Gabbia are worth keeping as a starter.

Modric is a great start. Okay, he is 40 years old, but still was a key player last season at Real, and they played in 6 competition, 7, if you count the CWC. We will play only 2 competitions, and one of them is the Coppa Italia. So I am not worried, Modric is still a top player, and he will give us a lot next season.

I am disappointed in Mike. Watching these compilations from Chelsea fans were tough... Asking for 5 mil net wage is disgraceful, and completely disrespectful to us. He is hurt that we pulled back from the 5 mill contract, and pissed at the management? Fuck you, lazy bastard, who got fat, and made blunders, terrible mistakes. His error cost us the game against Feyenord. Also any average gk would have given us at least 4-6 points more in Serie A. Getting rid of this leader, and replace him with VMS or Svilar for similar price is a huge upgrade.

Theo can also fuck himself. He has the audacity to ask for 7-8 million net wage after not giving a shit for the last 2 years? Get rid of him. So sad about his refusal to Saudi. It will not be hard to get an upgrade on the current version of Theo. The player from the scudetto season is gone. I don't see a chance that he can turn his career around here. He is too comfortable, he feels like he is above Milan, and he can do anything. Get rid of him, and get a slightly less talented, but more hardworking player instead. Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.

I am sad for Reijnders, I really liked him. This is the one exit that hurts the soul. He was a menace. Getting Modric instead of him, even for only 1 year helps lessen the pain. Also our midfield was really unbalanced, and like it or not, he was a part of that midfield. But nonetheless, we will miss him.

It is essential to get a cleaning of the squad. Get rid of all the cancerous element. Then we can start the rebuild. Mercato for us only starts on July 1st. Our first training is on July 4th. We have time for signing players. We will need 1 GK, 1 RB, 2 CB, 1 LB, 2 CM, and 1 ST in case of not renewing Jovic. That is 7-8 players, completely normal for a mercato.

Monica Colombo - Corriere - Theo was advised after rejecting Al-Hilal that he and his agent need to bring to the table offers of 30M to leave Milan. If the player refuses to move, Milan has advised him he will spend the season on the bench and can leave for free the following season.

I said it before... the guy counts at 3M aginst the balance sheet... I'd make his ass sit if all we're gonna get is 15M.

Some Chelsea fan actually compiled all this, LMAO.

Literally Maignan & Theo cost us cl qualification n CL round of 16. Additionally they cost Fonseca & Conceicao their jobs. If we don’t get rid of them, they will cost Allegri his job.

You know what‘s even worse? Both wore captains band for the majority of the season. Holy crap.

When u play like that n then get pissed off when u don't get a new contract w more money. Cheeky.

Everyone who thought we‘d build around Theo n Maignan was god damn wrong.

The problem with keeping Theo and Maignan is that we'll lose them for free next season, so the question is: should we accept lower than expected offers for them or let them play out their contracts? Theo is not worth renewing for 7 million, nor Maignan for 5 based on their recent forms, so we sold the only player that has any value with Leao still here.

Potential buyers have seen their decline and make offers they deem appropriate that we believe are too low and complain about, but I read a week or so ago that our squad has lost 50 million in players' values. They have gotten worse, not better, with a few exceptions. Look at Theo, Maignan, Tomori, from their early days here to now. Even Bennacer, Okafor, and Thiaw are not the same. Someone is at fault for the players getting worse instead of better, maybe the coaches and of course the players themselves for not working hard enough.

On the positive side Deers and Pulisic have been consistent, Gabbia and Salaemakers improved but they did it wearing different jerseys so our record of players growth is pretty pathetic. Add to that the many failed transfers, overpaid bums such as Chuck, Musah, Emerson, Morata, Terracciano, Walker, and our fall is complete.

People say: why don't we sell the fodders? Because other clubs are not fools, don't want them, unless in some kind of loan formula where these people are not redeemed and we're back at square one.

Do me a favour... The guy is revered in Italy.
Barring rube no one rates him

Literally nobody.

Glorified hack. Thinks he was tough lmao. He is basically a con man in a Great team

Like McGregor. Overrated. Irish hack.

Real talent and true great player was scholes.

Cantona, giggsy and the defense with Irvin who was a beast.
They made this fool look better than he is

DiMarzio - The deadline is at 7pm british time tonight, and Milan has advised Chelsea that they have to pay the asking price or Mike will remain at Milan. Chelsea hopes to unblock the situation.

In all fairness, Napoli, Juve, and Inter's goalkeepers aren't there either
Meret and Di Gregorio are better than Maignan, imo. Meret is about to renew with Napoli going from 2 million to 2.5 so would have been nice on a free. We never even tried to pounce on him, stealing him with a higher offer since they've been negotiating for ages.

Of course the money for Mike and Theo would be very nice.... But I like the way mgmt is carrying out these negotiations. last year or not, we won't be lowballed.

And realistically speaking, they're right. It's a world cup year and BOTH players are coming off subpar/bad season + longer....

Do the players want to participate in the WC? If so, they need to play AND start... So, if we decide fuck these lowballs, you stay and help us, both players are obligated to perform. They choose not to, not only do they miss the WC, but they'll be coming off of 2+ seasons of shit performances... Who is buying them then?

It's a calculated move. It's cold. But I have ZERO issue with it. I respect it, in fact.

MN - C’è anche il tedesco Atubolu nella lista per l’eventuale post Maignan: le ultime

Atubolu has huge potential. Only played his second season n made huge leap. Future No. 1 german national team.

He‘d be a nice signings.

We’ve to sort out the bad apples in the squad so that they don't poison the whole basket.

Exactly. And caving in to the demands of underperformers sets a very dangerous precedent.

Tiji played his heart out. He never gave up and pushed every match. He found a suitable offer to leave, likely wanted out to play CL and make 2x the wages, and the club had no issue granting it.

These 2? GTFO. Put in 1-2 good seasons and then start making demands and forcing your way out after being part of the main reason we're in this mess? nah, strong arm them

historically speaking, you can't find a team that underperforms as much as Milan has, considering the pedigree of players, coaches and ownership we've had. this is especially true for anything domestic.

even at our absolute pinnacle this club was extremely wasteful. just winning trophies was never why I loved this club, it's well beyond that. I loved them in the banter era, I loved them in the Silvio era, and I love them now.

Things might be frustrating at times, but that's the real joy of sport. The ups and downs. And at this moment, I feel like we might be at the restart of an "up period" based on the serious hires we've made.

But only time will tell.
I can name several clubs that have underperformed more than Milan.

Regarding the new San Siro that Milan and Inter want to build together, today's edition of the Gazzetta dello Sport headlines: 'Norman Foster chosen by the club for the stadium project'. Rossoneri and Nerazzurri have chosen who will design the project of their new facility: it is Norman Foster, one of the most famous architects in the world who will work with Manica, another excellence in the sector, the studio already chosen by the Diavolo for the stadium in San Donato.

So the last two Italy matches that we sucked in both I payed closed attention to Ricci and Rovella that were mentioned with us and the verdict is not good. Ricci was substituted at half-time, did nothing particularly good, just easy passes that did not advance the ball, nothing special. Saw on TMW that Atalanta is interested in him because he played under Juric at Torino so let them have him, I'm no longer a fan.

Rovella is about the same but both players are not creative nor physical enough like the kind we need, someone like Ederson who's brilliant in all phases of the game and ten times better than the two Italians. The other that I watched is Cambiaso, decent but not worth the money they ask for him.

Most Italans were pleased when Spalletti got the job but he's been a disaster, big disappointment, we move the ball too slowly, miss the easiest passes and were actually out-played by Moldova that only lacked a good finisher but showed a lot of heart.

Gazzetta_it: At the moment, no club seems willing to pay that amount not even Bayern Munich. So, Leão is likely to stay in Milan and play a central role in Allegri’s new system

You must be crazy to pay over 80m for Leao anyway.
So hes likely to stay
@yungeddy rodent? kindly inform them that Leao is a 100m euro player

There was a recent report from suma saying we wont sign either ricci or rovella. Let's see

Theo`s reaction when he hears he will sit on the bench or in the stands

Nah, he isn't Origi level (yet).
He still cares about the NT and knows that he won't be picked for the NT if he is permabenched by his club, so he'll want to find a solution where he gets to play.
Especially not when it is a WC season.

Negative. No club has had the roster contruction and spending of Milan, to come up so short, so consistently domestically.

We have fewer titles than Inter and significantly less than Juventus. That just should not be the case with the teams we've had throughout the years.
