R9 never really won much in ucl. Never really stood out. So I am not able to rate him all that high. Skill wise sure but Ronaldinho beats him there quite easily.

At ronaldinhos peak, he was pure magic. No defender could stop him. Too bad it don’t last give his party lifestyle.

Prime R9 is easily the best #9 to have ever played the game. And no Ronaldinho doesn’t quite beat him easily on skill. I would say the 2 of them are the peak of skills when it comes to football.

I assume anyone who says this never watched peak R9 starting from the mid 1990’s, we won’t see a player like that again any time soon.

Why are people twisting Zorro's words?
He said that Milan should have kept Bennie because he's a technical mid and they could have used him againt Feyenoord
He said that months ago not weeks
Wonder if Allegri can somehow make him useful

Adli him rlc etc

Just make them decent system players.

everywhere and nowhere.
1. Cherki isn't the biggest new name in french football. Doue is.

2. Cherki had 1 year left on his contract (till June 2026). Tiji just extended till 2030 a few months ago.

Doue moved to PSG last summer, fella... Because he was absolutely balling at Rennes. I guess if you don't follow football, sure.

Cherki is the flavor of the season for an attainable signature. 35M. He's 22.

Nesta at 22 was in his prime wtf are you talking about bro?
Before Real Madrid he only play in CL once in 1998/99 with Inter, that was pre-injury
Then he spent like 2 years out of comission with his knee blown

He didn't get to play CL again until Real Madrid
2002/03 was his only real shot due to team circumstances and due to weight gain illness

These are the seasons he played in CL
Playing in CL was not easily guaranteed in the 90s
PSV was second place to Van Gaal Ajax he was there for 2 season, at Barca he was there for 1 season where they were at CWC, at Inter... yeah

At Inter
1998/99 1 goal in 6 matches
At Real
2002/03 6 goals in 11 matches
2003/04 4 goals in 9 matches
2004/05 3 goals in 10 matches
2005/06 No goals in only 2 matches
2006/ to December 2006 2 goals in 4 matches

Prime Ronaldinho > Post-injury Ronaldo(except for 2002 and 2006 World Cup where in 2006 especially Ronaldinho was a huge disappointment)
But Prime Ronaldo >>>>>>>>>>> Prime Ronaldinho and it's not even close

Ronaldo after having his knee completely blown out twice was still doing shit like this at Real as late as 2004/2005 in Champions League

It just sounds to me like you didn't witness pre-injury Ronaldo live tbh because nobody who saw him at PSV, Barcelona, Inter pre-injury would ever think Ronaldinho was better

Not just Ronaldinho.

There isn’t a striker that is even remotely comparable to peak R9 or player that had more skill than him. People who doubt this just never watched him pre injury. He is the goat of all #9’s

I'm going to break something in my house if we actually end up passing on Coppola and Leoni, only to try and work something out for Comuzzo, who's the worst of the 3. My gosh. 10 mil for Coppola? Brother.
Coppola and Leoni both very talented.
Insane we didnt take Coppola for 10m.

I hope we get Leoni now, who IMO is the best young italian defender.

The interview was released May 14th, not months ago... It was weeks ago. A simple google can tell you that

His exact quote? "The management has massacred him. Bennacer is an exceptional player, underrated. What he has given to Milan is exceptional."

Don't defend the guy, he said what he said.

Agreed, don’t understand why any of the Italian teams were not involved unless he really wanted to go abroad….

If only both beasts dint indulge in party lifestyle
Moreso fat Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho was mostly party lifestyle and he kind of lost his motivation after he won everything important and somewhat recovered some of it when he back to Brazil
Ronaldo was mostly injuries and hypothyroidism which he didn't take illegal substances to treat the latter btw so every time he went from fat to skinny he did it the hard way. He didn't party as much as Dinho, he said one time he had more nights with Roberto Carlos than going out partying with girls
Ronaldo for me never felt like he lost his motivation and never felt like he wasn't having fun, that is a huge difference.
Neither of them took training seriously(in one video Mourinho says that he saw Ronaldo at Barcelona and he was just having fun in training like playing at the beach... it's very weird to see Mourinho emotional like that btw) but Ronaldinho seemed to sometimes not enjoy playing football at all while Ronaldo always seemed to be having fun and always seemed to have his head in the game even when he had off-matches. That's part of the reason why to me Ronaldo is synonymous with Football.
Ibra says it best ''Ronaldo is football''. I remember a few years back I watched Ronaldo play one of those retirement matches, and even though he was fat and barely walking the moment he touched the ball I felt like almost bawling. Watching Ronaldo play reminds me of the joy I had playing football as a kid. There is something so pure, uncynical and precious that goes even beyond his skills and achievements.

8th place in EPL is better than 8th place in Serie A.
How much money are they giving him in annual salary?

Ronaldo could do any feint Ronaldinho could do at top speed. Many people assume Ronaldinho popularized the Elastico but Ronaldo popularized it way before him. Like he could do elastico at top speed.
I don't like when people say Ronaldo is the best #9 because it can give a wrong impression. When people think of #9 they think of pure classic strikers.
Ronaldo was far more than that, he would often collect the ball at midfield and dribble a bunch of players regularly, especially when playing for weaker teams like Inter.
With Brazil of course he played very close to the box but that's because Brazil played at the opponent's box for long stretches of the game.

I was confused with another interview he gave around February.

Gazzetta - Bennacer is returning to Milan, as Marseille are not going to buy him out for the 12M agreed fee.

Very strange... Didn't Boban say 3 weeks ago he's world class and mgmt was dumb to let him go?
Was it in the interview he gave when inno Milan was playing before final?

Tell that fuck to take this broken bundle to his Croatian club?

Midget fuckers here  plain liars.
