Even based on his highlights, he is much more defensive than Theo.
He can't run down an entire left flank and score a goal.
But he is good at tackles and interceptions. And still pretty fast.
If he works out, can be a really good player for Allegri system.

He doesn't need to.
Just needs to run down the flanks, link up with Rafa, or cross to Pulisic on the other wing and prepare to defend.
I'm expecting him to be more Oddo/Zambrotta than Abate/Jankulovski.
If that means the left flank is much more stable/solid and the backline less leaky, then I'm all for it.

Again, I think people are misunderstanding what Jashari offers. I've heard other people say he's defensive. For me he's going to doing it all. He isn't Bennacer. He's like Tonali but with more attacking intent (dribbling and passes).

And in 2025, tireless workhorses in the middle of the park help massively. You can explain in one word why we were bad last season. MIDFIELD. I never want to see 2 midfielders again. Unless both are strong defensively. We had 2 that weren't strong defensively last year.
