You think Bennacer, Origi, and Adli are bigger fuck-ups than... Chuk? Emerson Royal? Okafor? Morata? Lol, what? Messias outperformed Chuk.

Fonseca is the biggest fucking moron that was... hired by who? The bygone era or the current owners?

Musah we can clearly sell for solid money? Wake me up when we actually sell him. Let's see what amazing deal Besiktas gives us for Emerson Royal. Morata is a financially positive deal? Do we get to factor in performances here when it comes to what is financially positive? You don't want to bring up Okafor? Pavlovic who can't mark an attacker to save his life?

And Walker and Felix--they didn't cost money? We paid money for Felix, and paid his salary, or am I wrong? Sottil didn't cost us money? Terra didn't cost us money? Bondo didn't cost us money? How do they not matter--we put money into players that didn't help us.

Let me use Bondo to explain my point: we paid 10m for Bondo when we needed a midfielder to help Fofana and Reijnders. Musah was terrible, RLC was injured the entire year, and so we spent 10m on Bondo, who was also injured, which hurt our sporting performances. Can you see why I don't agree with your point that these transfers don't matter?

Their choices are financially irresponsible, because they severely impact performance. We just lost 100m from missing out on the CL--because of this ownership's choices. They chose to put Moncada in charge, without a license. They did not think it was smart to hire an actual SD, that they didn't need one. They also chose not to hire a serious coach, when many were available, including Allegri who they hired now. They chose to hire Fonseca who you describe as "the biggest fucking moron." They interviewed him, nodded along with what he said, and then gave him money to run this team into the ground. This ownership hired Ibra and let him make choices like bring in Kivorski, who has no experience in Italy, at all, to head up out Futuro project and got them relegated--was that a good financial decision? Instead of keeping Abate, Ibra fired him (and his father)--was that a good financial decision?

They have moved on from players who aren't working out? What? So why is Chuk still here? Why did we let Kalulu go, to go buy Emerson Royal? We pushed out Adli for Musah? We loaned out Saelemaekers and relied on Okafor? The players who want to be here, who want to fight for this team, like Saelemaekers, like Adli, like Kalulu, those are the players that are problem? Okafor who couldn't stop eating, he wasn't a problem last year? For all the complaints about professionalism, Okafor doesn't raise a question about it?

And at the end of the day: they lost 100m in revenue by getting 8th place, because they made choices based on ego. Whether it was firing Abate, keeping Chuk, buying Emerson Royal, going after Felix and going 424, etc the decisions made by this ownership have been capricious and rooted in shifting blame, avoiding accountability, and for personal vanity.

That's the definition of financial irresponsibility.

Yes - I think the asking price for both of the young CBs put Italian teams off
Italian GK, CB
French MF
Brazillian AM, RM/LW

Has their own premium pricing.
But i’d really like to have another functional Brazillian Attaccare on the roster.

Estupinan is a good player. Noticed him when i was following De Zerbi ball some seasons ago.
Hope he comes and do good.

Will be watching the game in Singapore.

If Furlani is there, anyone wants any insults thrown at him?

We couldn’t get totti
So we might as well get Toti from wolves
He is good

And diakite

These are cheaper and quality options for cb

17M + 2M add-ons is actually a decent deal.

Superb work by Tare including selling Theo for 30m

Now RB, CM, CB, CF to go

Really want a leader at CB now once we shift some deadwood from midfield and maybe move on one of the existing guys

Love this kid already

Stefanie is probably fuming

Our twitter account should make a veiled shithouse post once we sign him targeted at Stefanie

Fuck it, we’re not above that
This forum obsession with my queen, Stefanie, is about to be unhealthy

Initially I was skeptical about jhashari
But the more I watch him, I am starting to believe he will do well here.

Let’s hope so.

Here we go on Pervis in, Morata and Pobega out. Thats progress.

We still have: Royal, Bennacer, Adli, Musah, Okafor/Chukwueze, RB, CM, ST

At least 8 moves with 42 days left in the market.

That's not what his underlying analytics suggest-

1753157103923.png

Obviously, its always tough to tell how much of this stuff is actually the player, and how much of it is the tactics of his team and what he was asked to do, but his attacking numbers are elite and his passing is very good, but his defense is quite meh

This makes me a bit nervous, since Ricci also had poor underlying defensive numbers (without the same attacking quality tbf), but at the same time, I think its fair to think that Max will demand different things and its very possible that they look different under him

Defense
Out: Kalulu 13(4), Theo 25(5)
In: Pervis 17(2), RB 21(7)

Midfield
Out: Reijnders 55(7), Pobega 7
In: Modric 0, Ricci 20(5), CM 42(7)

Attack
Out: Morata 9, Royal, Adli, Bennacer, Musah, Okafor
In: ST

0 sum market. They need to save money from CM and RB moves to fund a decent striker. A few more sales from the excess could really change the dynamic of the remaining moves. It could go from Embolo striker to Vlahovic/Mateta/Boniface.

My assumption is that they’re not flexing money that they havent secured yet, and the no CL means we’re not getting the usual 40 M starting budget.

Its funny because if they chose to spend 15 on Xhaka instead of 35 on Jashari then this whole market would have been pretty much unlocked.

But the Furlani/Elliot model is still U25.
