it's a shame that we were linked to both, griezmann and dybala, when they played at Sociedad and Palermo

raiola offered us pogba too before joining juve.. linked to radjaa before going to roma:(

Linked to bale too before he exploded.

Those doesnt matter though, we missed out in zidane cuz we chose his teammate instead of him

Not during the summer Pogba joined gobbi ... Galliani and Raiola were dealing/bickering about Zlatan sale during those times.

We cant sign world class players nor should we try, too much financial resource into one player can cause disharmony. Even when we are ready i would prefer us to sign players on the cusp of being world class. Players who cost 25-45 mill. Luke griezmann when he went to athletico or sanchez when he moved to barca or dayabala when he moved to juve. Sign them just before they become/ start becoming world class. Its up to the scouts and sporting director to pick the right players. Thats going to be the diffrence to us returing where we belong. No us speanding 100 mill on superstars, not sustainable.

Very well said

However, imo we do need a marquee signing to signal that footballing world that we are back. This will also help us attract those 25-40m players youre talking about otherwise dybala/pjaca will happen!

not linked... Leonardo asked Galliani to sign Bale. Galliani didnt. Also didnt want to pay for Pogba.

Shit happens. Juve sold Henry, Ancelotti played him as a RW. Grazie Carletto :D

Cant wait for the day Milan signs a good RB. Even Lichsteiner would be great, he is bound to leave JuBe. And then Abate will be unhappy, moan and cry again like under Seedorf. And finnally will be benched and leave Milan or simply be a rotation player as he should be.

DArmian I prefer, but that is just a dream. Same as Veratti.

The only way i see us getting him is if we get into EL ( very slim chances for CL) and pay him like at least 2x his current salary ( whichever that may be )

But yeah it would be awesome to have him here, he is miles better then anything we have.

It doesn't necessarily have to be him. We need to scout the next great forward since none of our current forwards are world class nor have the potential to be.

It'd be nice to have a player of Shevchenko's quality once again who can lead the attack.

Susinho is a winger :D

i'm not for this superleague idea ...but since the goal is money money money... it makes 100% that there are the 5 teams from england and only these 3 teams from Spain.
they want teams with huge fan bases, that's also the reason there are 2 chinese teams and only 1 brazilian team.
besides Real and Barca, no other spanish club has a (permanent) huge following...even that 3rd spot for Athletico is more like a rotation spot...used to be Valencia's spot in the early mid 2000's

Cant imagine how it may works - 1 game per week because of jet lag by traveling between continents, without any home league competition? Or just like euro/world cup qualifications -> 2 weeks break in season to gather in few places on the world and play 2-3 games of world Super League...

Why not creating a World Cup of clubs?

i like the fact that in the last few page we are having more voices of people wanting to BUILD a team rather than BUY a team (even though there are little chances that will happen).

i don't know if most members are young or if it's more the mentality of today "i want it and i want it now" ...

besides i don't even see the fun in that... i will much rather see a team growing over the next 5-8 years...with current young players + new young players maturing season by season + addition of a few established players where it's needed.

i'd like to see something like this (i don't follow much football lately so i'm not up to date on young player with star potential ... just Milan games for me, as painful as it can be)

in january: 3 Signings at least

1. Tielemans ... i think he is one of the best young midfielders around

2. another good Midfielder cdm as wanted by Montella... doesn't have to be a super player... just an able player... with more agility than a sloth and faster than a snail. that would be better than the guy we have now

3. A young Fullback ... left or right ... our fullbacks is at Paralympics level. so 1 good fullback would be a plus.

in the summer: at least 5 signings

1. Bring Back Thiago Silva yes i said it , even though im not so much for comebacks ... he can serve for another 2 seasons then he can go back to brazil.
this move would be beneficial on so many levels.

*Leader. this team seriously lack that. one of the last players who has those Milan values that we cry are lost.

*Fans would greatly appreciate this. could stir great excitement which equal to more support during games

* most important. as we noticed and as Costacurta mentioned a few days ago, Romagnoli has not improved much. playing next to TS33 could do him wonder.
it would benefit Gomez too who could step in when TS is Gone (or maybe we would have found a new top young CB if Gomez doesn't convince by then)

2. Bring an established Midfielder most likely, someone out of favor in one of those big money team.. Fabregas or Kovacic (i know he is young, but he has been playing and proving his quality at top level for a while now, so i consider him established)

3. another good full back Established or Young prospect, whatever

4. a young good CDM to slowly takeover the "just able" cdm from january (or overtake immediately even)

5. an attacker or 2 depending on the needs after seeing how those 45 attackers we have here, do all season.

I wouldn't even say that Milan needs to search for only young prospect type guys, but moreso at players who are just ready to make the step to a high club. Juventus did a very good job of this, and even Roma has as well. Searching for value in players who are already fairly established but also have a lot to offer at the highest level.

Guys like pjanic, Vidal, nainngolan were good players but werernt super hyped up, and were probably sold for less than their true value. Other examples of guys like that who far exceeded expectations are Borja Valero, Jorginho, biglia maybe. None of them were 18 or 19 when they arrived at their clubs, and most if not all of them weren't being seriously courted by the truly elite European clubs at the time. Of course we'd all love to sign some top prospects but that's the biggest gamble you can make in sports.
