i like the fact that in the last few page we are having more voices of people wanting to BUILD a team rather than BUY a team (even though there are little chances that will happen).

i don't know if most members are young or if it's more the mentality of today "i want it and i want it now" ...

besides i don't even see the fun in that... i will much rather see a team growing over the next 5-8 years...with current young players + new young players maturing season by season + addition of a few established players where it's needed.

i'd like to see something like this (i don't follow much football lately so i'm not up to date on young player with star potential ... just Milan games for me, as painful as it can be)

in january: 3 Signings at least

1. Tielemans ... i think he is one of the best young midfielders around

2. another good Midfielder cdm as wanted by Montella... doesn't have to be a super player... just an able player... with more agility than a sloth and faster than a snail. that would be better than the guy we have now

3. A young Fullback ... left or right ... our fullbacks is at Paralympics level. so 1 good fullback would be a plus.

in the summer: at least 5 signings

1. Bring Back Thiago Silva yes i said it , even though im not so much for comebacks ... he can serve for another 2 seasons then he can go back to brazil.
this move would be beneficial on so many levels.

*Leader. this team seriously lack that. one of the last players who has those Milan values that we cry are lost.

*Fans would greatly appreciate this. could stir great excitement which equal to more support during games

* most important. as we noticed and as Costacurta mentioned a few days ago, Romagnoli has not improved much. playing next to TS33 could do him wonder.
it would benefit Gomez too who could step in when TS is Gone (or maybe we would have found a new top young CB if Gomez doesn't convince by then)

2. Bring an established Midfielder most likely, someone out of favor in one of those big money team.. Fabregas or Kovacic (i know he is young, but he has been playing and proving his quality at top level for a while now, so i consider him established)

3. another good full back Established or Young prospect, whatever

4. a young good CDM to slowly takeover the "just able" cdm from january (or overtake immediately even)

5. an attacker or 2 depending on the needs after seeing how those 45 attackers we have here, do all season.

Really good point right here

But i really want we get top 3 in order to play in CL. For me Milan 5-7 years w/o Scudetto can sympathyze but 3 years w/o CL is sth unacceptable. CL w/o Milan is really painful to watch

I have to adjust sth in ur opinion so we still have a strong lineup in Jan and compete top 3 but not overpay for a big star.

In Jan i want 4-5 names, but its depend on how we do until then. And i dont like bring a young player in Jan, kids need times to adapt with new team, and even if we could bring Tielemans, dont see much playtime he will have. Let buy them in Summer.

1.A quality DM is a must. If Montella likes Badelj, just give him this guy. I want a better player, but it seems like really hard to find one.

2. Bring Caceres, hes a free player, can play first team or be a good back up for CD or FB, both are our weakness. Insta upgrade.

3. Bring 1-2 out of favor proven stars. We need qualiy players right now, but we cant afford to buy key players, since we arent in CL. So its best when we buy out of favor WC players:

Some names to mention:
WC-tier: Yaya Toure quatily player, just need his desire to play football comeback, Cecs Fabregas: #cescwecan
Good-tier: Kovacic: Real has tons of good MCs so dont see he has much playtime, as well as Depay

4. Depend of how we perform of late, spend money and bring 1 good player to back up. If Bacca or Niang played like shit, buy a attacker, or FBs or CDs if needed

1. Completely agree with this, with TS we not only have a tutor for Romag but also have a strong CD-Duo. After 2 Seasons he can go back to brazil and we immediately buy a WC defender. That would be ideal scenario.

2. I prefer to buy 1 WC player, if we had a decent line up, we should buy 1 WC player, spend 60-80M, either Isco or James or whoever, give him number 10, build our team surround him. It boosts our morale and confidence, as well as our raputation. We dont need to buy whole new squad like City, just 1.

3. Ricardo Rodriguez, Fabinho to consider

4. I like Rabiot

5. Depend on us: but not a big problem right now

I don't know man...after the gazillion dollar EPL tv deal, I can see clubs like Tottenham hold onto their star players for a bit longer.

True... especially with him being one of their own.

Not a huge fan of his... but i have a feeling Spurs wont make the top 4 this season.

So maybe we can wait and see how he does in the UCL. And then make a bid next season.

Galliani has had plenty of fuck ups but Tevez is mainly on Allegri and his bf Matri.

Griezmann atm. But it could change in the future. Dybala is a phenom. Incredible talent.

Kenny Dalglish, then manager of Blackburn Rovers, agreed a deal in principle to sign the then 23-year-old Zizou, chairman Jack Walker refused to sanction the move. “Why would we want to sign Zidane when we have Tim Sherwood?”

Few years back Lewandowski was about to go to Blackburn to have a medical. But the Icelandic volcano threw a spanner in the works

Same here, don't remember the last time an English player did well outside EPL besides Beckham and Owen for 1 season as a super sub

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I-Jn38YAe4 ;)

Reports from the Mirror in England say in 5 years there will not be a Champions League, but a World Super League. These are the clubs which would start the league...

China: Guangzhou, Shanghai
USA: New York City FC, LA Galaxy
AUSTRALIA: Melbourne City
BRAZIL: Corinthians
ITALY: Juventus, Inter, Milan
SPAIN: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid
South Africa : SuperSport United
GERMANY: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund
FRANCE: PSG, Lyon
ENGLAND: Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United

China Usa and Australia :fp:

Much rather have

Boca and River.... with a few more teams from Brazil.

Also Italy should add Napoli and Spain should include Valencia.

Scotland With Celtic, Rangers and Holland with Ajax, PSV.

Lyn should be dumped for OM

Portugal with Benfica... and Gothenborg reppin the vikings.

Limit germany to only one spot.

Looking at those pictures make you realize how looooow we have fallen on all aspects.
Players with very little to No quality on field, no charisma. None of them can be up on a billboard (outside of their neighborhood) and get people to look up for more than 3 seconds.
Maybe only Honda, and that would probably be only in Japan.

The hype and buildup to this Manchester derby is just like how it was when we were facing Inter in the past

:lol: I wonder how the forum would feel if Montolivo played exactly the way he does now but he was never captain

Lol... Probably like they feel about Poli.

Him wearing that armband is doing more harm to the team than we realize.

For one, many of the past coaches (and Montella) wouldn't hesitate to drop him to the bench and try others. Bu He can play shit all season and still untouchable.

With him being captain (therefore being a guaranteed starter), coaches cannot really experiment other alternatives. even with the cast of clowns we have had in the midfield dept for the past 3 seasons, I'm sure 1 coach could have molded a semi functional midfield. But there is an untouchable captain. So whatever tinkering they had to revolve around him.

With him being captain (therefore a guaranteed starter), his sponsor (Galliani) said we need a vice-montolivo (what?!) ... So we can't even acknowledge that he needs to be replaced.

But now is no longer the time to be worried about him or Poli or any other player that's not at the required level. With change of management and Galliani (hopefully, effectively) gone.
this mediocre player's privilege should be over.
Any proper DS coming would identify that midfield as the first thing that need to be reformed.

This photo on a billboard catches your attention from 5 streets away.
And when you pass it, you'll back to check if there's not another pic on the reverse.

Our current players pictures look like some type of "Say No To Drugs" ads

before we let Pirlo went to jube, I actually thought he is the one that will replace ambrosini as our captain. and I thought he will become one of our greatest captain.

Any chance we end up a transfer ban over the Mati deal ? I mean if theres no paper trail linking Cosentino to the deal all will be cool ?
