They were a good partnership indeed and they both fit in well within the Ajax school of football. I will say that de Jong hasn't improved at all since moving to Barca and he was even more tied to the Ajax's playing style. I expect that he will have trouble to establish himself in the European top even if he moves away from Barca. De Ligt hasn't improved much either, but I expect that he will become a top defender in a couple of years time.

Bro I said free kicks. We have scored 4 already, if not 5. In which season did we score 5 free kicks. I don’t think Hakan even scored 5 free kicks in he’s entire Milan career.

I just checked he scored 4 free kicks in he’s entire Milan career. So what are you on about. What did you prove. Even if our set piece numbers remained the same it shows we don’t need him. For a called specialist, he really isn’t that special.

Inter scoring more could be from a number of changes. Correlation doesn’t mean causation. But what is fact that we scored more free kicks this season then a lot of other seasons.

Fans of other teams overrate their players. Which is normal. Milan fans are unique in that they underrate their own players while overrating other teams' players.

But they're fans. I played against an Everton fan who told me Richarlison was better than Salah. Again, delusional. But, that's what fans do.
