"almost done for Drogba", "almost done for Eto'o"...bla bla

INTER, Almost done for Drogba

Together with Quaresma, Inter are about to set another strike on the market; it seems in fact that, after a meeting between Chelsea Executive Chief Peter Kenyon and Inter executives, Didier Drogba is just one step away to sign for the italian club.

Heh, don't say you're suprised Drogba will join Merda, his lover is in charge there now, so that's not a big surprise, is it?

Watching U/11's match is like watching a cricket match. You have no future in the game unless you bag about 10 goals per match (including the GK).

Don`t forget that he`s 11 . No one score 10 goals / match. Did kaka score 10 goals/match or Pato,Pipo etc...

Personally I think it's great news as long as we still get another world class striker (Eto'o, Berbatov, Villa, Gomez, Benzema). Drogba is a quite old, selfish player, who prefers diving to fair play, his form wasn't great recently, and his style - I would compare him with a better version of Gilardino. We just don't need him.

Arsenal believe in Santa to take Adebayor's place

By Rob Draper Last updated at 8:50 PM on 07th June 2008

Arsene Wenger is prepared to make a £12 million bid for Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz to prevent his side falling apart as he contemplates losing Emmanuel Adebayor to AC Milan in a £30m move.

Adebayor's relationship with Arsenal has become so fraught that it seems inevitable that Wenger will allow him to leave, assuming that Milan come up with the money.

Mathieu Flamini has already left on a free transfer to the Italians while Alexander Hleb has agreed a deal with Barcelona and is waiting for the clubs to fix a fee.

Wenger insists the Togo striker will stay at Arsenal but the player has infuriated directors by demanding more than £80,000 a week.

Arsenal are prepared to fight Manchester United for Santa Cruz, a clear sign that the departure of Adebayor is being considered. Paraguay striker Santa Cruz, 26, has been a revelation in his first season in the Premier League, scoring 19 goals in 37 appearances.

Despite costing only £3.7m from Bayern Munich last season, the player's value has soared and, with three years left of a fouryear contract, he will not be easy to prise from Ewood Park.

It is hoped Santa Cruz's arrival, along with Marseille's £11m midfielder Samir Nasri, will go some way to appeasing key players, Cesc Fabregas, Kolo Toure and Robin van Persie, who are alarmed by the departure of Flamini and the probable exit of Hleb.

Adebayor also looks certain to go unless he makes a dramatic U-turn and backs down in his contract talks. Despite having improved his contract last year, the Arsenal board were prepared to increase his salary to around £50,000 a week, but the club will not give in to what are seen as excessive demands.

Adebayor's agent Stephane Courbis declined to comment on the claims yesterday but it is understood that the striker sees himself as one of leading stars of the Premier League, having scored 24 League goals last season.

AC Milan in talks for Sao Paulo defender Miranda
**************.com - May 27, 2008

AC Milan are in negotiations with Sao Paulo for defender Miranda.
The 24 year-old's full name is Joao Miranda de Souza Filho and he has previous experience in Europe with France's Sochaux.

Corriere della Sera says talks are already at an advanced stage between the two clubs for Miranda.

I'll say it again, if Milan is going to buy a brazilian defender, why not Thiago Silva? Geez. Unless Flu is not willing to sell him, it would be bad business imo not to go after him.

how do you think-milan sell sammarco to samp!is this mean that sampdoria will let christian maggio in milan????!!!!
p.s.: is maggio a full back???left or right???good or not enought???

Football italia,calciomercato...:

Maggio joins Milan wish-list

Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have already captured Gianluca Zambrotta from Barcelona and are looking to bring in another wide player.

“Milan’s interest has become evident in the last few weeks, so they are talking to Sampdoria,” revealed Maggio’s agent, Massimo Briaschi on Radio Kiss Kiss.

“Napoli were also interested, but I haven’t met any of their representatives since January. At the moment we are in negotiations with the Rossoneri, but also waiting to see if there are any other offers.”

Right-winger Maggio has had his best ever season with Sampdoria, scoring nine goals in 29 Serie A appearances.

He was expected to be part of Italy’s Euro 2008 squad, but was not included in Roberto Donadoni’s list.

Just watching Germany play and have u seen what a pass was made by Gomez to Klose who than played it further to podolski who scored. It was pure class through pass by Gomez and he is a striker! Bring him before EURO ends, cause his price tag will deffinately increase!

ntonini earns Milan return
Sunday 8 June, 2008

Milan have agreed a deal with Empoli to bring co-owned midfielder Luca Antonini back to San Siro.

The 25-year-old hails from Milan and was a Rossoneri youth product but has spent his whole career being farmed out for loan spells.

After representing Padova, Prato, Ancona, Sampdoria – where he was co-owned - Modena, Pescara, Arezzo, Siena and Empoli, Antonini has finally been brought back to the fold.

“I can confirm that we have agreed a deal with Empoli for Antonini,” Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani confirmed in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He will take the place of Serginho in our squad for next season.”

Antonini played 25 games for relegated Tuscans Empoli last term and will provide cover next season.

Backup Lb! Not bad but if hes midfilder how hes gonna play at Lb??
Or he can play there to?
Didn't watch Empoli mutch this season so i dont really know this player!
Can any1 tell us more about him (and not stuff like birth date, position...)

Maggio: former purple close to Milan, Naples exceeded

The former external violates Christian Maggio, currently at Sampdoria, it seems very close to Milan. The rossoneri would in fact exceeded the Naples to buy the player who this season has really achieved great results. (fiorentina.it)

Kaka, Nesta, Cafu, Javad Nekounam,
The player is said to have his heart set on wearing the Rossoneri shirt and would accept a pay cut to join the world champions’ ranks, where he would provide much-needed defensive cover.

However, there are whispers that Inter may step in and beat their city rivals to the punch.

After last term’s injury crises, the Italian champions will be looking to ensure they have greater strength in depth at the back and may see Ferrari as a cheap addition.

(official website)

1. typical inter to share our ambitions for transfer targets yet again
2. anyone else notice the cheap ethic we have :D

Hey man dont u think that u hate cause he`s from Albania.

Damn, BUSTED

Why should I give a damn where he's from? Man you should consider hittin' the road, there are a million of talented kids out there, about 11 of 'em will make it through and become footballers.

Chances are that this kid will end up as a nobody within the world of football, get real Scout !

Btw: I voted soooo YES!

Magnificent, now all that's left is to flail your feet around a football in a demented jig beside a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo, boot the ball towards an open goal, then you're ready to tell Kaka he's a useless bible-obsessed old man and you're having his place in the team and also his wife.

My head hurts.
