Zapata and Boruc would be great. I'm not convinced we should get Adebayor though.

Yes they would be great but we will end up with Abbiati and Ferrari....

Pirlo should stay at all costs. When he's in a good day he's a match winner.

I'm not a big Pirlo fan or anything but losing him and getting Eto'o is utter stupidity....Pirlo is the man to sent those overhead looping balls for Eto'o to utilize his pace........it would be like getting an AK-47 at the cost of all the bullets

everyday when i get to work i get excited to check the internet (before my boss comes in) to see who milan have finally made moves for..... and everyday my day starts off HORRIBLY
Doesn't it seem a little silly that an event over which you (and us) have no control dictates your mood for the day?

You mean we shouldn't get depressed over things which we have no control of, like inflation, global warming, natural disasters, Tera Patrick being married...etc? :D

pirlo for eto and buy veloso and zapata, then galliani will own the market :)
Just get Eto'o without selling Pirlo and get Cigarini aswell and if he would have got Vargas/Dossena, then he would have owned the market, now the market is owning him.

EDIT : And also get a world class keeper

Well that something that Galliani ownes, being bald...
If he was as good on the market as losing hair then Milan would have a team with world class players who don't even make it to the bench...

We'll strike a *gasp* deal with Inter where we'll withdraw from the inevitable Larsson-race so they'll push Crespo on our door. It's a fucking win-win situation eh?

I agree but I would like Gomez / Barbatov / Huntelaar above Eto'o. Cigarini would be nice because he is a more physical pirlo and he's young enough not to demand that much playing time... so basically, IMO he would be a great young sub that we could develop well.

At least we aren't cheap again.

The Rossoneri have been after the Togolese striker for quite sometime and
both Adriano Galliani and Carlo Ancelotti revealed that they would like to see the player at San Siro next season as they continue to strengthen their squad.

The player’s agent also stated that his client would not turn down a move to Milan.

However, Berlusconi admits that the striker is a bit too pricey.

“Adebayor? I am not really sure about him, he costs too much,” said the chief.

It seems as if Milan will have to look at other players in order to add strength to their attacking department.

Alberto Gilardino left a vacant role in Milan and so far, the club is finding it hard to fill.

Milan missed out on the Champions League this term and, perhaps, this may be the reason as to why the top striker’s around Europe are not really interested in moving there.

However, Wenger has always stressed that he does not want to sell Adebayor and the Togo international himself has also played down talk of an exit.

"My future with Arsenal has never been in doubt and I want to assure fans I will be here for many years," Adebayor said in The Sun.

"My agent has met with coach Arsene Wenger about a new deal and I am happy about how the talks are going so the fans can rest assured."

(sky sports news)

i also really dnt see the big fuss over gomez, i would like it if he joined but still prefer huntelaar, eto, drogba, berbatov them most

I wonder if we can coax Gabriel Batistuta out of retirement? He OBVIOUSLY has a lot left in the tank having scored 22 goals in 25 matches a 0.9 goals/game average  at his last club- making him one of the most prolific strikers on the planet.

He could be an excellent signing for us. He certainly is a proven striker is big strong, has a powerful shot is good in the air and is a proven SerieA scorer. Plus he is a known good guy so he won't cause any trouble in our locker room. MOST IMPORTANTLY HE IS CHEAP, AND WITH A LITTLE PERSUASION MIGHT EVEN PAY TO PLAY FOR US. Quick Galliani don't loose this opportunity and let Batigol pursue a career in sports journalism....sign him! Personally I can't wait to see Batigol's name splahsed across acmilan.com in gold like they did with Ronaldo :proud: Imagine (if you dare) A Ronaldo Batigol strikeforce

i think romario is a better option at this current stage, he has the hunger in him to chase his 2000th goal

I think that we have to accept that we wont be making anymore buys this transfer campaign. Silvio just wont spend his money, so getting a big name player wont happen.

If were lucky we may get Drogba, but i doubt it. I cant see the squad being much different than what we have now. The squad is not good enough to challenge for the scudetto as we wont score enough goals.

We have to accept our prayers wont be answered this year.

Dru, it's not the DREAM signing thread, it's not like we could ever think of such a player coming to Milan

But serious now, with all your pranks you migt give Galliani some ideas and he will say 'but the fans wanted that player !' he'd be dumb enough to do it...

I think that el Batigol will demand dentures as part of his medical plan and that will cause Galliani to hold a press release stating that "Milan will not be held to ransom" by players unreasonable wages' request and proceed to kick Batigol to the curb :D

It's the middle of June...the transfer window closes at the end of August. That's two and a half months left. No clubs have really started any business considering the Euros are still underway. Please wait until August 31st to pass a judgement on the transfer season. I don't understand why everyone is so bitchy and pessimistic this early. Just be patient and wait.

The trouble is we have been patient for years. When are we going to buy some top quality players and really challenge for the scudetto? We certainly are not good enough at the moment. i mean Boruc is a top quality keeper available for around £10 million and were saying he is too expensive? I dont want another year wathcing Milan thinking if the other team have a shot they will probably score. Dida, kalac and Abbiati are just not good enough.
