An all around good performance from Milan. There was an absolute blooper in this one by Braga lol... one that will probably be on youtube for a while. Gattuso, Antonini and of course Ronaldinho were of notice... I liked how Antonini went forward in this game... he's attacking more and more... and did some good tackling.
Senderos had an decent game... I think we have sometihng good there. Face it. He was rusty in the first half. Big f'king deal. He hasn't played a game in how long? He had a better second half. The guy obviously has it in him and he's only 23.
Dida was alright... did his job. He's not completely out of it yet.
I avoided posting on here today until after the game was over by the way...because I didn't want to see ranting and bashing of players. I went through this thread and noticed a lot of bashing of Pippo and Gattuso. Doesn't surprise me. Will some of you people shut it? You are embarrassing real Milan fans on here.
Milan didn't really take this match with much seriousness. We have our eyes set more on the game against Lecce to solidify our standings in the Serie A.
We played fine enough. It was a stroll... and sometimes we should have scored... but we did the job just fine... the 4-3-3 was a bit unusual. I guess purely tactical... as we want Seedorf in good condition for the game this weekend.
Here is the Goal.crap review (the author here I typically think is the best on that website):

Milan
Dida -7.5: The Brazilian shot stopper didn't have much to do in goal as Braga's finishing was relatively poor. However, he made a miracle save from Peixoto in the first half. The Portuguese should have scored but Dida's hand came out from nowhere.
Antonini -7.0: The youngster was superb on the right. He got up and down the pitch like an express train. He was perfect with his challenges and his crosses were pinpoint as he impressed on the night.
Senderos -6.0: The Arsenal man had an average game. At times he would make a brilliant tackle, on others he would show a lack of effectiveness. A good display overall and his double tackle on a Agukar in the second half was brilliant.
Kaladze -6.0: The Georgian international had a quiet game for most of the night. He was hardly troubled at the back and he made a few good interventions on Meyong in the first half.
Jankulovski -6.5: Always comfortable at the back. Like Kaladze, the stopper had an easy night. He pushed up well as he helped keep a high line which frustrated the Portuguese side.
Gattuso -8.5: Man of the match without a doubt. He was everywhere and he was the constant thorn in Braga's side. He helped Senderos escape from jail, showed brilliant skill to dazzle Vandinho and capped off a stunning display by laying his pass to Ronaldinho for the Brazilian to finish. Marcello Lippi had said Gattuso was Milan's 'Ronaldinho', the midfielder is better, he's everything.
Emerson -5.5: The midfielder drifted in and out of the game. Perhaps his lack of first team appearances have slowed his judgement down a little as he kept giving the ball away and he hardly made any run or effective movement. Not one of his best displays at all.
Flamini -6.5: The former Arsenal man worked his socks off all night and he was clean and tidy with his challenges. A good night overall but he was lucky to escape the book for his challenge on Cesar. He came in a little too strong but the referee looked away.
Pato -6.5: Pato was excellent for around an hour or so before he was replaced by Ronaldinho. His dazzling skill in the first half left Pereira for dead as he dropped his shoulder twice to leave the stopper baffled. A decent showing.
Inzaghi -6.5: The Italian signed a one year contract extension this week but he failed to celebrate it with a goal. A good game overall and he was particularly dangerous early in the first half as he latched onto a few of Antonini's crosses but his headers were poor.
Shevchenko -6.0: The Ukrainian hit-man showed flashes of the Shevchenko of old. His run, dummy and strike in the first half came back off the post and he was tricky. Always put the Portuguese side in difficulty when on the ball but he was selfish at times. He should have passed to Inzaghi on 77 minutes but he blasted wide instead.
Subs: Seedorf 6.0, Ronaldinho -7.5: The Brazilian came on from the bench to steal the points for his side with a stunning finish. World-class as he does the business again in an important match.

I agree with them.
