RIP Totti
This wasn't our best game but no matter what we are still at least 3 points clear, you never know Juve or Lazio might slip up in their games. Also looking at next years fixtures, looks like most of the challenges for the scudetto (except Milan) will play each other in the opening rounds so that is bound to disrupt some teams title chances with Milan playing slightly weaker teams.

Transfers will also improve out squad for next year, im pretty sure cassano is coming to Milan as might be a few others which will bolster the team for the champions league and serie a, and with players like Pato returning from injury it can only help us.

I think the reason we lost today was because we lacked the killer touch on goal (eg Ibra's 1 on 1 miss) and there was no real penetration from the midfield after pirlo got injured. Pato has that killer touch so i think in some way or another we will need to see him sometime next year. Pirlo will get back to fitness were he can hopefully stay and maybe bring in a few more midfielders to give them the edge, and get rid of shitdorf, if we are lucky some team might actually buy him.

So next year is looking good I must say, forget the loss today, move on to the future were we WILL be better than this year.

Ridiculous game..

Ibra was pure fatigue.. or he wouldnt missed that goal.

And without thiago, that defense is too fragile.

And Abate is a joke.. always was.. always will be..

Many players had an off day & Pirlo's injury was a painful KO.
The break came @ the right time.
We will recharge batteries , retrieve some players & maybe sign a couple.
The title is doable if we worked hard for it.
This is the most positive Wild the forum has ever seen. Amazing :D.

I didn't see any "fire allegri" posts. You see, I put those users on ignore after the second time they posted that shit. :star:

too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
Wait... What!?!1

eh Abate was quality today aside from 1 or 2 minor blips he was one of our better players in fact for much of the game i was thinking what a superb fullback Abate had turned into.

I agree. Abate still needs to grow to be a better defender but compared to last season, I would say that it has been amazing. It is heartwarming to see him make huge progress. I don't care he makes mistakes. Who doesn't? To think he didn't even start as a defender. I say that we can and should trust him. :proud:

On a related note, Antonini has been extremely disappointing. :head: And Bonera. I wish Yepes was 5 years younger.

We shouldn't have let Borriello go. He would have won us 10000000000000000000000000000000000000 champions league titles if he had remained here. What a motherfucking great talent. We should all suck to him. Respect.

abbiati - 5.5 - had nothing to do, probably should have come out on that cross, but whatever, nothing too bad but nothing too great
abate - 7 - definitely has what it takes to start at a top class club, great work, had 1-2 minor mess-ups, but saved us many times, worked tirelessly, and was consistently awesome
nesta - 8 - fantastic. could possibly have done a little more on the goal, but not that much
boner - 5 - up until the goal he was actually quite good, but he let that cross go right between his legs and then the goal happened...
antonini - 5 - pretty solid for the entire game to be honest and played quite well but made one crucial mistake on menez and that ended up costing us the game... if that wouldn't have been a goal he would have received a 6 rating, but fact is.. it was a goal and thus, 5. funny little tidbit, i said to my pops who is a roma fan before the game that to win, roma needed to run menez at antonini and bonera... the one time they did that they scored....
ambro - 6 - good stuff, nothing awful, worked real hard
gattuso - 7 - truly a great game and nobody should knock him, he worked his ass off especially bc boateng pushed up sooooo far and left the 3 mids with too much work
pirlo - n/a - he was looking soooooo good until the injury, such a disappointment he got hurt bc we looked sweet and pirlo was on fire, once he went off, our team lost faith, that was the turning point.. come back soon pirlo, we desperately need this guy, fuck off haters, now you see what happens w/o pirlo when everybody else isn't on top form
seedorf - 4.5 - dude is so done.... not good at all today, still, I would have like allegri to put him as AM today and boa back at midfield, would have done wonders.
boateng - 5.5 - worked real hard, but little product, too fancy at times, poor passes at others, some good stuff here and there, but awful positioning and was playing as a forward and not as an AM and that killed our midfield and tired them out... not a good game, and it will be nice once we get cassano to put boa back into midfield... now you guys see he is not an AM.. that shit works against the minnows at brescia but not v. roma
robinho - 6 - another good shift from binho, great work today, always providing movement, just no end product
ibra - 5 - really a bad game, the worst I've seen... somehow he seemed to lack confidence... could this be the first of the big game choking??? let's hope he has kicked that habit bc there will be many more high pressure games like when we meet Juve (the other scud contenders) for the second time

dinho - n/a - sorry allegri, i know you're trying to get rid of the guy and thats fine, i agree to bring cassano in for dinho, but really... winning is the most important and we should have played him today once pirlo got injured and moved boa back to midfield... thanks for everything you did last year dinho and good luck wherever you go!:star:

allegri - 5.5 - not awful today, and i LOVED the starting lineup, but really, after pirlo's injury he just made bad decisions and it showed as we sucked the second pirlo went off... seedorf should have never came on and dinho should have played AM with boa moving back to mid.. also, if he really was trying to not play dinho and wanted to play seedorf, than at least play him as an AM and push boa back into midfield.. our shape was awful and that was 100% due to boatengs shitty AM positioning which is a lot of the blame on allegri for not telling boa where to stand... in the end though, he's been a great coach and has got this team going strong, a very minor blip today, but TBH, we had our chances.. we bury one of those, we win i guarantee, so you fags calling for his head are really really shallow or dumb, or probably both

overall - LOVED how we started, it looked so fucking good with pirlo playing like he should in a nice role, but right after his injury it went to shit. bad tactical choice from all when pirlo got injured and it cost us the game. also, ibra choked hard in great positions today which sucked... bottom line, I hope cassano can bring that magic touch we needed in tight games like this one if he comes, but today we opened up the scudetto to everybody, especially Juve... what a bad result... also, a lot of teams probably figured out how to stop our attack so it will be tough for us from here on out... the WORST way to go into the break... well, Merry X-mas boys, and here's hoping that cassano comes and becomes our missing link at AM b/c we reaaaaally need one... boa is NOT an AM, and I hope all you tards who think he is watched today's game and saw his shit positioning against a good team. play boa at CM and you got a star.

sidenote if anybody was going to score today, i'm glad borriello did it and not the other fags on roma. props borri, wasn't a pretty goal, and was definitely just a deflection, but you worked hard and were in the right place at the right time... something our strikers were not.

Pirlo's loss killed us. No creativity in the midfield lead to 30 yard through balls and regular long balls. Personally i would have put seedorf as the trequartista and dropped boa in the midfield.

we lost because of clerance seedorf.. i am very sure if flamini was there and subbed in place of him we would win.. he was great for us but its time for seedorf to go back to holland.. he did not run.. slowed down everything.. absolutely gutted.. we deserved more

"After the match, left the San Siro Ibrahimovic back door, without going through the mixed zone where Milan's players usually have to pass. And before that Ibrahimovic gave vent to his anger in the dressing room.
According to Sportbladet Swede was really pissed when he stormed to the plan and kicked at a door on the way to the locker room in frustration. Ibrahimovic's anger was due to their own mistakes, but also on teammate Clarence Seedorf who should have received hard criticism from a number of teammates in Milan yesterday, who believes that his passing game will come too late and that he did not wear hard enough."

Pirlo out, Sedorf in. That was the reason we lost last night. Pirlo is the man!

Forgot yesterday, but Antonini can't cope with this squad either. He was fine and good last season, basically merely combining with Dinho and using Dinho's form, but he's quite mediocre.

While Abate has impressed tremendously this season, Antonini has gone downhill. I'm not sure he can even be a good first choice LB sub.

What a nightmare yesterday !!

I guess everyone will make their own conclusions on our first part of the season. Well, i'll make mine.

Something ha changed from last season, its obvious. Coach, first, skilled, smart, sometimes, to my opinion, a bit "blind and optimistic" about some senatore's actual capacities. He should think twice before thinking the actual dorf can change a match. But, again, i assume Allegri can recongnize his errors.

Then the squad : biggest change here. new players, the will to play good, to get results ; to win something. We can be happy with our group spirit, which is the most important thing if you want to succeed. Everyone looks to go the same objective.Good point.

These changes are the most fundamental but, it think there's one remaining. There's something that hasn't change really, since 2-3 years.

If you look at our defeat ( except the game vs ajax which wasn't one) Juve, Roma, Cesena...We lost against teams that can defend. We lost in the " attack-defense " scheme. Roma was AWFUL, they'll NEVER win the serie A this year. Remember how they played ; defending ( their defending line is really good btw) and throwing balls upfront. They were not even near the " good performance". And against That, we find a Milan that is lost, that seems to forget how to play.

Allegri often talks about the " inserimenti " from the midfielders. I think this notion is excatly defined when you play against a 8-9 men defense. This fixture against Roma now shows perfectly that winning in counter-attack, or against " kind" defense is another thing.

So for me the thing that hasn't change since leo, at least, is the lack of creativity when we're facing defensive team. I think it's another fundamental issue we should fix asap. Pirlo is problay the only one for this job. Boa is a bit unaccurate, flamini also. These 2 players are pure " tackle and run" players who had rythm, speed who accelerate the movement of the ball. But when you see a 10 men defense and our midfielders walking with the ball with absolutely no idea of what to do...

That's we DESPERATELY need a replacement for dorf/pirlo, someone who has vision, who can create ad change the structure of a game.

We have someone upfront who can change a game on his own. Now let's find someone who can do the same in midfield.
