Milan are defending well, but they've been abysmal in possession. You can't give Barcelona the ball this easily.

Cassano needs to come off. There's always the chance that he'll do something special, but that's just not a gamble that's worth taking when he's being this much of a passenger. Emmanuelson on? 4-4-1-1 with him and Nocerino wide?

Seedorf has dropped out of it after starting strongly, but that's partly due to having nothing to hit in front of him.

Nocerino is invisible. He'll need to start getting ahead of the ball more now that Boateng's off.

Pato isn't doing enough. Milan really need him to start running in behind.

Yes, we need a ball player... but one at LCM/RCM... not Pirlo. Moreover, if we had a CAM that could actually hold the fucking ball up, and Robinho at CAM (movement + not giving the ball away), we'd look 5x better than we do now.

And really, this is no surprise. Most on here were screaming for a Playmaker in MF, but B and G never got one. This is what happens. When you have a bunch of mediocre players with no real inventiveness in MF, you can't create much. Especially against the best team in the world.

Yes, because if we had Pirlo we'd be dominating.

This type of game was going to happen Pirlo or no Pirlo, Cristiano Ronaldo or no Cronaldo. Simple as that.

Pirlo would do fuck all here, don't let his faux renaissance at Juve fool you, him being motivated for the first time in ~4 years(What a lovely human being to do that to Milan ) does not make him a great player, and even waiting til Hell is a frozen hell wouldn't be long enough for a Pirlo performance like that in our shirt.
