Anybody seen The Guard with Don Cheadle?

It's written and directed by John McDonagh, who hasn't written or directed a thing yet, but happens to be the brother of Martin McDonagh, the playwright who besides looking like Sting, also wrote and directed In Bruges (One of my favorite movies of the last couple of years) and the short Six Shooter. Have to say I'm a bit curious.

this Korean movie is sick..it's about crazy fuckin serial killer and some agent (whose fiance was killed by that lunatic )toying with him/preparing for brutal revenge

wow i was so disturbed by that movie, he is the same guy as in old boy

Drive seems to be a cult movie, going this weekend, normal folks dont buying into it, has to see moneyball

I agree about the original. But David Fincher (Seven, Fight Club)... he knows his craft. We'll see.

Nice and about the movie.. its a very good theme as well, so although am not looking forward eagerly will eventually watch.. that actress better perform well.. Noomi Rapace was fcuking A through out the original trilogy.

And you happen to know any other good movies of her? :smileani:

Noomi Rapace is great. Only swedish movies so far, but she started doing some Hollywood things now. More info:

Noomi Rapace is gonna be in Prometheus, the new Alien Prequel, which I expect is gonna be .

Didn't like the Stieg Larsson books, liked the films even less, so not gonna watch the American remakes even if it is Fincher who's doing it. Swedes should stop with all these crime novels/movies, and go back to making weird extentialistic movies, those were much better.

Mostly looks like always. Her personality is pretty interesting as well from what I've seen from interviews. Have seen her only in The Town I think. Did her work there.

Well she mostly did chick flicks till the town,so till then just eye candy for me also.Since then shes been putting in good acting like in the Town and The Green Latern,even though in the later she didnt have much to work with..the movie was a bit dull itself.

Looking forward to see more of her hotness and acting on the screen

I don't know if I can recommend anything you haven't seen. But IP-man is good.
