I don't know if you're serious or sarcastic :D but I HATE the flicks and tricks style of dribbling. Every time a players does that i pray for a DM to come with a two-footed tackle flamini style.

I hate unnecessary flicks. If a step over helps you gain an edge, do it (ronaldo). If its just to jackoff. Don't

I love the way ricky glided past the players , oh man so straight , like a breeze , he moved so fast in the center lane

Lol @ Messi doesn't dribble, r u out of your mind? if Messi doesn't dribble then who does? :conf: what the fuck do we see from him week in week out?

I personally rank Iniesta as the best dribbler in the world, but if someone said Messi's dribbling is top 2 or 3 in history, i won't even argue that.

funny thing, i remember many players saying that kaka's injuries in real was because he got a certain training in milan that kept him away from injuries.

Pato is very similar to Ronaldo in his dribbling technique... but his timing lets him down and thats because of poor concentration and coordination. otherwise he knows every trick in the book, but its ridiculous to say he does unnecessary flicks because he rarely dribbles unless facing a defender on the counterattack.

Midfielders (and classical #10) do a more indirect kind of dribble, but it's still dribbling in my book. It's not past defenders lightning but fool them to keep possession of the ball or find space to make a pass. Simply a touch, a turn or a change of pace. Sometimes it's a horizontal move, or even a backwards move. Or even questionable in it effectiveness.

Riquelme is the more classic example (probably one of the best at it too).

Pato had good dribbling skill; however, after getting heavier his body balance seems off plus from what I noticed from last season (few games he played) his brain wants to do something but his body takes long to respond. Not to mention that the papero has not worked hard to become a better player. Also, as I have mentioned before, Pato naturally is not fast (not control of his speed); however, he is the football player that has the most frightening acceleration.

That was beautiful :proud:, those were the days -WC player in every position, seedorf had hair, costa ruled the AM and shevchenko and inzaghi made defences shit their pants.

One of the most surprising things is how shit shevchenko became after he left Milan, I have never seen a WC player leave a club at his prime and become such a complete flop - and never recover. It's a shame, I wonder for how long sheva would have been at the top if he continue with us.

He should be playing for Pippo during International break to gain "match fitness" as Primavera too will be on break.

Dunno what the argument is but if we are discussing the best dribblers of today I think Ribery is one of the best, he rarely ever loses the ball and always seems to find a way out of trouble.
