IMO without Filippo, Simone already lived up the Inzaghi surname. With Filippo, the surname got a great boost expose all over the world.

Simone lived off the inzaghi name that Filippo made famous at both Jube and Milan.
They played in the same position, but simone Only ever scored more than 10 goals in 2 of the 17 years he was a pro - and that includes the lower league appearances.

So, Inzaghi surname was not great [not bad either I believe] before both Simone and Filippo played in Serie A. Both made Inzaghi's name more known by many people, the difference is the level of their impact at making the Inzaghi's name well known.

Simone was far below Inzaghi's quality at least achievements but Simone played in Serie A and for Lazio too IIRC. It is already good achievement for many footballers. Not all young players turn to world class quality. Playing in high level competition should be already a good achievement for most young footballers.

IMO, the only contribution simone made to the name was when he played along side pipo in the national team as it was first time brothers played together for Italy. other than that, he really didn't contribute much.

Simone was a CF, his main purpose was to score goals and provide assists - he did neither well according to his statistics.

I am ashamed to say this, but my brother is a life long Nazio supporter. He and many other Nazio supporters don't consider simone to even be in the top 10 of their best players.
