kuja, if alegri had few little fault for this loss..does that means he also had few little credit for our win?

if so, why are we still hire him as a coach? he is insignificant.

The endless excuses of Allegri's apologists...

so far, we've heard:

- PSV had more matches, are more match fit
- It's one match
- We lack CF
- We lack creativity
- We lack CB
- Team hasn't gel
- we still wait on Ljajic and Honda
- refs
- players all bad, but not him

anymore?

ancelotti also had bad record against bottom teams

Yea Ancelotti losing against newly promoted sides does not justify Alleger losing against newly promoted sides.

Stop pointing back to Ancelotti to defend Alleger.

Milan's midfield (Nocerino-Montolivo-Poli) intercepted only 3 passes & had 3 tackles only in whole 90min VS Verona.

My point exactly.

:fp: Allegri fanboys are worse than Jehovah witnesses really.. nothing you can say to their twisted logic. Time to look deep inside your asses and pluck your eyes out of there.
First of all, I'm not an Allegri fanboy, I was just stating a fact. And second I would love to see you talk to me like that to my face.

Every year with Allegri there are "If only we hadn't fucked it up in all those games, we would..." thoughts in our heads.

Last season was saved thanks to Balo dives/PKs and an unlucky Viola.

How long can we keep on hoping for a Balo dive/PK to save us?

Don't make Carlo comparisons. The man is a fuck up in league games.

And we were almost fucked up last year by Fiorentina dives/PKS and lucky Viola.

Blame it all on Allegri. That's the most stupid and most easy thing to do.

Blame Allegri because NDJ & co are injured.

Blame Allegri because he's forced to play with mediocre players.

Blame Allegri because Monto's not in form.

Blame Allegri because this was Balo's worst match for Milan and had no one to replace him with.

And about the fitness problem. The players looked tired, but this is normal after the preseason trainings. We'll look better from this pov in the next matches.

About the match, indeed we played like shit. But the most important thing is: we need at least 3 new players. A CB, at least one CM, anda RW. Maybe a striker too.

so Hallas is going to make the CL this season? we were outplayed by a team that was just promoted.

Don't be preposterous. If the rules are going to be obeyed(diving is illegal) then reputation and past events can have no impact on the giving of a penalty.

You can't have two barometers(rules and referee) and have one being objective and one not. The referee should have given us a penalty. Fact. Regardless of what Balotelli did, even if he slept with his sister or was arrested for child pornography before the game.

It is not that the referee saw a clear penalty and didn't give it. From all the dives in the match leading up to that event, you can clearly understand that the referee could've been skeptical about Balotelli falling over, can't you? Who created that skepticism? Balotelli did. Now, the referee cannot see every incident at 100% clarity. So he has to go by what he has seen.

Honestly, I don't care about the referees because they are not a part of our club. But as a player, there is no doubt that diving is not gonna help your reputation. And as a player, Balo needs to stop the diving if he wants to stop the unwanted attention.

I also prefer De Jong, but I wouldn't say Monty can't play there... He had a really off day, just that. We got the third place last season using him as anchor.

IMO, Poli and Nocerino didn't seem enough to give him defensive support.

Most of the times when we played Monto as anchor last season he had Muntari and Flamini flanking him, thus giving in a lot of good defensive work. Today he had Nocerino and Poli. Noce is just passive in the defensive phase, while I can't judge yet on Poli's defensive abilities in midfield.

Oh, Hellas play at the Bentegodi too?

At one point, I saw the ball bobble and thought "my god, this is almost as bad as Chievo's stadium" haha

management arent getting honda, they pissed them off and they said they wont sell him period. Ljajic and sakho would go a long way helping us out. Balo needs service and we simply dont have anyone that can give him any

ses balo
ljajic
poli dejong monto
des mexes sakho abate

that is a really good squad and the best we can do for now

We need experience now, not wonderkids those players are talented but experience in the 3rd is what we need............once again Honda is top propriety.........not because he is the best player in the world, but because he brings the creativity and experience of winning matches that our team lacks in final 3rd thats not even factoring his free kick ability.

Shoddy game, and I was half expecting this.

Mexes-Zapata had a good run towards the end of last season, and I'm still not sure whether that was a flash in the pan or a more permanent understanding. Now I'm more inclined to believe in my original theory that it was a flash in the pan - both have been known to be inconsistent throughout their career, it really is difficult to see them as a successful long-term partnership. A CB is a priority. Really.

De Jong not being there told as well. Poli and Nocerino were quite bad in tracking the Verona midfielders and coupled with the shoddy defense, this was a disaster in making.

Difficult to see any positive player in this game really. We better get our act together in 4 days or it's gonna be bad.

Massimiliano Allegri admits Milan deserved their 2-1 defeat in Verona. “We played badly and were only a team for 13 minutes.”

Andrea Poli had given them the early lead at the Stadio Bentegodi, but Luca Toni bagged a brace of headers to seal the Serie A season opener upset.

We played badly at football, badly as a team and should’ve controlled the ball better,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

We reanimated Verona, who had until then been struggling. We played badly and Verona amply deserved the victory, so this has to make us reflect. We must play with more determination to bring home the results.

I am not so much worried as angry, because we made life difficult for ourselves, were soft and were bad on a technical level too.

It is the opening weekend, so it’s NOT normal that to lose like this is painful, especially as we have an important Champions League play-off with PSV on Wednesday.

Toni set the example for Verona and fought like a lion, which ought to be our spirit,” continued Allegri.

In order to get results, we need a different attitude. There are some players who didn't manage much pre-season training, but that cannot be an alibi. When your legs give in, you have to defend with 10 men and that didn’t happen today.

We only played as a team for the first 13 minutes. Were there refereeing errors? I prefer to talk about the game.”
