Allegri is a decent coach, i reckon they will reach the semis of ucl but wont win a title this year. Napoli to win the scudetto.
Napoli?!

I'm expecting a Rafa meltdown and sacking right after winter transfer window.

two good games and all of a sudden he is a good coach
in his first two seasons he had by far the best CB pair, and by far the best CF in the league. And putting SES @ LW was the only good thing he did. In 12/13 Monto was amazing, and so was Balo.

This is just my opinion but I think winning a Scudetto is a good thing :conf:

Stramaccioni could have won with the 10/11 squad too

Why do people talk about the "could have" situations. Winning with a good squad doesnt make a coach bad lololol :lol:

Guardiola won with a good squad = bad
Mourinho won with a good squad = bad
Ancelotti won with a good squad = obv bad
Conte won with a good squad =So bad

Winning with the best squad does not make you good either, not winning with it makes you bad 4 sure.

I call BS on this. Thiago Silva never played more than 27 games in each of the seasons, Nesta in the second season was injured and played less than half of the games.
Do you wanna talk about our midfielder injury crisis when we were forced to put Strasser and Merkel in midfield together with Thiago Silva who was our best defender? Last time I checked, we lost to Tottenham because we were forced to play Yepes as central defender. Do you wanna talk about the fact that we didn't have a left fullback (oh wait, Galliani bought Taiwo who played like 4 games and Didac Vila who played one game. Even Constant was brought in as a midfielder.)

He put DeS in the first team, he raised the value of Merkel, Strasser and Boateng. He was the only one that played Gabriel, Cristante from the start.

I don't get these "X player was amazing". If the player plays like shit, it's because of the coach otherwise it's because the player himself is great.

I'm not saying that Allegri is the best thing since toasted bread, but there's no reason to put him down like this. Kinda reminds me what some crazy Juve fans say about Ancelotti.

Last time I checked people said that he was a good coach since he was with Cagliari (chosen best coach in Serie A) ... Juventus didn't get him because he was a sub-par coach, but then again, it's not like Marotta knows anything about football.

At that time Juve's strikers were worse than our midfield, or left backs. All of them were truly horrific, i mean after all Matri was the best of the bunch

Massimiliano Allegri :max: complained Juventus were “too disorganised and wasted chances” in their 2-0 win over Malmo.

“There’s nothing simple in the Champions League,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We knew Malmo were physical and would close up well, so we had to focus on technique and move the ball quickly, but in my view tonight we were too disorganised and wasted several chances.

“In the second half we were better in control of the ball and got this victory, which could’ve been bigger in its scoreline.”

Atletico Madrid suffered a shock 3-2 defeat away to Olympiacos.

“This will be a complicated group, especially after Atletico Madrid lost, so we will need a lot of points to go through.”

Carlos Tevez bagged a brace, but appeared to be playing in a slightly deeper role.

“I asked Carlos to play more between the lines so Llorente would stretch their defence a bit more. We found more space with Lichtsteiner, but at times went too narrow, though we improved that in the second half.

“We need to improve on controlling the ball, as we cannot risk losing a game like this with a counter-attack.”

Juventus had not won their opening Champions League game since 2008, picking up four consecutive stalemates.

European games are completely different to in Serie A. You saw Liverpool struggled to beat Ludogorets. These are more physical matches and, though we did well to not allow Malmo any chances apart from that early one, we needed to stay calm and not get hasty in the desire to score a goal.

“I think these lads are doing fairly well, but have the qualities to do a lot better,” continued Allegri.

He made no substitutions until the final 10 minutes and did not rotate the squad from Saturday’s Serie A win over Udinese.

“We played few important games pre-season, so at this stage the players are in good shape. The new entries are settling in well and having players who give you guarantees, even when changing four or five from one game to the next, is important.

“As time goes on the mental and physical strain will have an effect, so we will need everyone to maintain the intensity.”

I think Max should convince Juventus to play like a provincial squad against better outfits such as Olympiakos. That's the key to qualifying from this group.

So basically have them play to his usual tactics against any semi-decent opponent?

The Juventus trainer says his side will not be taking the Rossoneri lightly when the teams face each other at San Siro on Saturday

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says his side must respect Milan ahead of the two teams' Serie A clash at San Siro on Saturday.

The Turin giants and the Rossoneri experienced vastly different levels of success last term, with the former winning their 30th league title by 17 points the latter finishing eighth, thereby missing out on qualification for European football this term.

But Allegri says meetings between the two giants of Italian football will always have a special feel - particularly from his perspective, given he previously coached the San Siro club.

"Milan-Juve is always a game unlike any other," the 47-year-old said.

"For me it will be an evening of excitement and it is normal for it to be so ... I'm not a machine, and if I said otherwise I would not be human.

"I spent three and a half beautiful [years in Milan]. Those are now part of the my past personally and professionally.

"My relationship with [Milan vice-president Adriano] Galliani has always been great and the same goes for the president and for anyone who has worked at Milan."

The Rossoneri have made a perfect start to the Serie A season so far, winning both their league games, and Allegri was quick to praise the rebuilding job undertaken by coach Filippo Inzaghi.

"They have had a good transfer window, bringing in six or seven important players like [Fernando] Torres and [Giacomo] Bonaventura, who have technical quality.

"Inzaghi did well to restore enthusiasm to a team that in the last six months has had some difficulties and we must now prepare for a side that, in addition to having quality, will want revenge and to prove that they can fight for the top three places. Saturday will be an important game for them.

"In these games you can never tell [what the result will be] and playing at San Siro is not easy for anyone. We know we're strong, but we must have great respect for Milan. "
He meant 1.5 years.

Allegri is a horrible coach and is equally worse in man management. With him at Juve, scudetto race is wide open!

I am quite confident Juve wont win anything under him... and the longer he stays, the worse they'll get.

Allegri WC? He's not the worst but World Class is a huge stretch. Mourinho, Simeone, Ancelotti, Klopp. Those are names I think when I hear World Class. The Allegri fanboyism runs deep with some.
