Career wise, R9 has 247 goals in 343 games
Shevchenko has 219 goals in 446 games

That's at club level
Ronaldo has been at the top of the scoring table in Italy, Holland and Spain
Sheva has been on top in Ukraine and Italy

but r9 wasnt able to win much titles despite playing for top clubs. Sheva did win the champions league. in fact he probably would have had 2 champions league titles had his goal vs barca not been disallowed. For a player who is so great, r9 never really lived up to expectations in club football. Possibly due to injuries or maybe the clubs he played for were too reliant on his performances in important games. Sheva's performance with milan was much better than what his overall stat suggests. Sheva destroyed barca and madrid when he was barely 20. He took his rather weak side to the QF's of the UCL. R9 is more talented but sheva was more effective in club football imo. Whatever i dont care anymore.

My favourite Sheva goal, was the one against Inter in 2005 in the second leg of the champions league queter-finals.
