Fine as we are

Daniels coming home too.
To be fair, if we spunk all our money on a striker and fully functional RW I'd actually say that's an improvement...

I honestly have some appreciation and.hope for both Pobega and Adli...

Add a couple of GOOD back ups for Theo and Leao and I'd be content, if underwhelmed...

Adli can be said permaban by Pioli
But last night he took corner kick, more than once
This show Pioli has no order on details gameplay (don't get me wrong, I like Adli CK)
He doesn't choose 1st taker 2nd taker and go on, let alone develope scenario on attack or defense setpieces situation

We're 5th in the table, with 4 point gap to 4th place with Remaining 3 games, there is 0.0000001% we can get on 4th place end of season
The only way is winning UCL, but based on current team performances that is the same percentage possibility as getting 4th place

I don’t think a 9 point deduction will be sufficient for top 4 and tbh we don’t deserve it after throwing away countless EASY points against Spezia, Cremonese, Udinese, Salernitana etc :fp::cry:
Every match against professional sides are hard when you play like a pick-up team at the park

Basically, we finish 5th within 8 points of Juventus, sacrifice a goat to the Italian judicial system, and then enjoy more European Piolisimo next season.

And we win the CL

yes, really.
he had blunders in many games that could have cost us. his defending is still shaky and that's understandable considering where he comes from and how young he is.
he's already sitting on 5 yellow cards in just 1.000 minutes of playing time. for comparison: tomori has 5 in 2.400 minutes. this implies his frequently undisciplined defending.

all things considered, kjaer was our best defender this season, as sad as that may sound:fp:
tomori and kalulu had a world class form over 5-10 games at the end of last season. that's why i've always said we have to wait until tomori confirms it over a whole season. he was considered better than de ligt last summer.
And Kjaer is done unless he can recover his previous form next season (as he is still in that timeframe after his surgery). He looks two to three steps slow currently.

Both sides have points and I think it's arguable. None of our defenders stand above - Only Theo when he decides to play proper defence.

I still think though if we didn't play so suicidal we could hide most of their flaws and be much better defensively.

MMM are in an awkward situation. Firing Pioli would mean putting all the blame on him. But they know they’re the ones that convinced him that the likes of Origi, CDK, Pobega and Vranckx can be useful and can help him rotate the team.

I don’t think Pioli getting fired is a given even if we don’t make the CL.
I think the main reason they keep him is because they are cheap.

Similar to much of our other moves.

Is pioli switching back to 3-5-3 in Serie A to stem the loss again?

Fuck it. So we fucked up the season, it happens.

What I hate is ownership delivering fear to the fans as if not getting to the CL will be the end of the club. It wont, it never was.

So what, we will play in EL. A normal club shouldnt have a problem with that. Is it perfect? No. But just fucking deal with it.

Get your fucking club (that you bought!) in order and stop with fearmongering. Take some responsibility as the owner. Its not fair to the fans and its just unfair treatment.

Fuck off, fucking cunts.

Apparently Djalo has a verbal agreement to join Inter next season as Skriniar’s replacement. However, he recently tore his ACL so won’t be ready until the beginning of next season. Also, Kerkez is likely to go to England or Spain this summer.

It’s a shame that we never got to keep these players as they would’ve come in FAR more handy than Gabbia + FBT and cost next to nothing. Still, it bodes well for our scouting and hopefully one or two of Moncada’s recent youth signings e.g. Eletu, Stalmach, Traore etc can break through to the first team.

That same website recently posted an interview in which Kerkez admits loving it at Milan but was convinced by his dad to leave. Milan is not a prison and that's one of the reasons i admire the club.

I don’t think fearmongering is going to be the approach made by Red Bird. This isn’t American sports or even the Premier League that you’re guaranteed major tv money or revenues and can still be bad.

As Serie A is currently constructed, if you’re a big club and you miss the CL, that’s major money lost. If they don’t make the CL, I think there will be changes. Maybe they start doing things their way like they do at Toulouse with analytics. Changes may go beyond Pioli and the players.

But fearmongering is already happening. True, mostly by the media but also by ownership. We always listen how it is essential to get in to the CL, so we can invest, otherwise fans wont have anything to cheer for (Milan NEEDS CL, CL is essential) Thats not fair. We give love and support, we travel 500+ km to see games. What is on you is that you stay competitive and competent. Even if a bad year comes you need to be ready.

My only responsibility is to be a fan of the club I Iove. Everything else is on you. Be fucking competent and stop with the doomsday predictions. Stop fucking acting like its the same to be relegated or finish 5th.

If they miss out on the CL and operate in the summer like they’re closing up shop then we got serious problems.

But we’ll see how ambitious this project really is one way or the other.

The league should always be more important than the CL or else why the long face when we reached the semi final of it ?
The league is the gateway for the CL so i dont know if its even a debate.
Do CL people think we will win the CL each year ?

We had a good run in CL yet our next season is fucked because we did bad in the league.

We cheer them fking all season long, and it looks that they dont even care.
As of cheering will help now in this situation.
In case you didnt notice, the season is over.
If you wanna keep believing be my guess.
The fact that you gave up on the team increases our chances. Thanks for being our stunt butt bro 🫂

This team can go out and put on a show sometimes that's made us wonder why can't they do this all the time. I hope that the 2nd leg is one of those days. A Rafa hat trick maybe.

Adli in 20 minutes he played is the one who took the most responsibility. He did a couple of dribbles demonstrating his technique, he went to get the ball without fear (unlike CDK) and he tried the vertical play for his teammates (again unlike CDK who always plays backwards). . If Pioli had considered him more (mystery) and get used to playing with his teammates, he would have given us a nice hand. In these three games I would bet on him.
Exactly. In the limited time, he showed more drive and urgency, not to mention technical ability in this passes. He tried going vertical and to push forward.

Not enough intensity for me but this could have been built in had he played more regularly.

Logically he should have been perfect as the CAM/trequartista. I thought he played like a year one Rui Costa. I would go with him for the remainder of Serie A as well.

Forza Milan per sempre. Rossonero siamo noi.
