The January slump we got embarrassed in both combonination of Ben/Tonali or Krunic/Tonali until we changed to 3 ATB. But then we lost steam after it until we changed back to 4-2-3-1 and Bennacer was back in the lineup after an injury period in February and then he took time to get up to speed.
Yea, games he was deployed further back, we drew or lost (second half after disaster January). And towards the end he was only played as the advanced midfielder.

Look at it this way instead of “replaced”: when shit hit the fan Pioli always played Giroud. When shit hit the fan, Pioli always moved Bennacer away from the deep role and only deployed him in more advanced roles.

You can draw whatever conclusions

He honestly hasn’t. That’s why he’s a washed up coach now.

And yeah I don’t like using that term either by the way, I really don’t, but I couldn’t think of another term that could describe that situation better.

Leaf probably uses terms like toxic feminity in retaliation so don’t worry it’s all balanced.
Toxic feminity is well documented though.
This entire generation problems are almost entirely rooted to feminists going too far.

Leaf understands that both men and women do fucked up shit and refuses to use terms popularized by the ppl who literally hate humanity.

The same ppl who want us to use terms like white privilege and toxic masculinity want us all hating each other and getting themselves rich off of the chaos.

I really hope my son isn't affected by these non-issues.

Oh and don't put that hamster in a ball. It's highly stressful and triggering :o

Yeah, I thought all of that evolved thinking would understand that getting moved from your best position in favour of another and the team then improving would go hand in hand.

Maybe logic is a toxic trait

I dont think it works like that bro.

We lost our third highest goal contributor Brahim Diaz for nothing after his dry loan ended. Finished 5th. Lost Zlatan. Had a horrible roster full of duds like Origi. Bennacer was projected to miss half the season, and only had a reported budget of 45 million for last summer. It doesn’t take crazy intuition to see that we weren’t going from 5th to 1st this season. And once Maldini Massara and Tonali left it became even more obvious.

And as far as Pioli staying, it’s probably because he offered some continuity. Its crazy to fire Maldini Massara and Pioli all at once. But someone had to be held accountable, and the short straw was on Maldini and Massara who had a horrible transfer market, while Piolis saving grace was a cl semifinal.
I'm just saying what we were told by our nice new overlord... Im well aware it was going be ANOTHER transitional year.

We were spoon fed absolute BS lol, and a lot were waiting with spoons to get seconds...

Ask him to give example of "toxic masculinity" & enjoy the ride.
Toxic masculinity - when you call a man a cuck in an attempt to make him act like less of a pussy and grow a set?

brahim may not have been the best player for us, but he always seemed to be enjoyable being around outside the pitch always adding to the clubs atmosphere. think this current crop misses a little of that.
