Maybe it's just simple personal taste. Even here, you see people completely disagreeing whether Bennacer is a top-level midfielder or a mediocre little midget with some fighting spirit. Depending on who among us would be the Milan coach, you'd see Bennacer start every game or none of them - with an entire RnB forum discussing back and forth why that person prefers Musah over Bennacer, to name an example.

Calabria probably had a rating over 7 too before conceding the pen. His only big mistake yesterday. Other than that, I think his performance went a bit under the radar. He defended well against a not so easy opponent like El Sha, especially knowing Pioli always exposes our defenders to 1vs1s.

I have a friend who supports Sporting and he says Hjulmand is top quality. Granted, it's in an weak league but the fact the club are rumoured to only being willing to sell for his buyout which is €80 million - with Man United and Arsenal interested - suggests me picking him as great business in the summer wasn't too bad a tip. Though, I'll admit that Nicolas Dominguez was my first choice and he hasn't done as well - 2 goals in 10 starts.

Hjulmand was an algorithm player too. Cheap and top of the stats table. €18 million - wonder where we'd be if we got him instead of RLC.

Why should we make a decision in February? It doesn't make sense to be rushed here, especially not by the media.

Probably something to do with laying ground work for summer transfer targets. They get an idea what type of player the incoming coach likes and wants and who to get rid of from the existing squad. Otherwise if you only make your decision once the season is over hiring the new coach in June pre season starts end of June/early July you're already behind the curve for transfers.
