The Popovic situation is strange to me. We didn't want to pay the excessive commissions, Juve, Bayern or Man City wouldn't... but Napoli with their stingy owner on commissions would? Surely there most be some ridiculous clause in his contract for him to end up at Napoli? Can't see any scenario where any mighty club would have to compel with the demands of a teenager coming from Serbian academy football.

Only explanation would be that they (Popovic) are desperate as they know they've burned all the other bridges so they lowered their demands to something more reasonable.

Longoni said a few weeks ago Maldini is working with Leonardo & PIF. Leonardo has connections to the Middle east from his PSG days. Maldini would be made president. Leonardo would possibly have some role as well.
