yeeeeeeeeeeeeees, Mitea was a high prospect left winger at Ajax, I'm sure he would have been great if he didn't get injured ALL THE TIME... later he went back to Romania, don't know what's going with him nowadays though

But i did actually think of saying Mehmet Scholl. Remembered him from good old ISS Pro Evolution Soccer 2000. Legendary PS1 Football game.

Claudio played for Valencia in the CL final then went to Lazio for hmmm around 35 million euros I believe and now I don't know where he is.

Gerard Lopez played with Claudio in the final against Real went to Barca and now he is playing in some lower Spanish league.

I'm putting him in the category of players who were meant to be world-beaters but ended up drifting into obscurity. I do remember Rebrov and Shevchenko together at Dynamo Kiev, but he's not gone on to achieve what he was supposed to since leaving there.
