Yeah because passing the ball to no end is the only way to win a game.Football doesn't have other tactics like lets say defending/counter attacking and that`s why Barcelona won the CL last year,cause there tactics are perfect and the only way to play the game.

Barca went into the game with RM with a starting XI that didn't have any yellows so Dani Alves and Mascherano picked up one so only these two are in danger, thats it really.

Messi has a micro tear in some muscle and will miss the weekends match and might not be risked against RMadrid because if it gets worse then he may have to miss the final. Will probably make the bench for the second leg but remains to be seem if he will be risked.

However, Adriano and Iniesta should be back so they will be pretty much at full strength for the final.

Speaking of which, concerning your Barcelona post above reminds me of Champions League campaign in 2005 where former Sweden referee, Anders Frisk publicly accused by Chelsea manager at that time, Jose Mourinho of having invited the Barça manager, Frank Rijkaard, into his room at half-time, an act that is against UEFA regulations.

UEFA, then charged Chelsea with inappropriate conduct following the match. Mourinho received a touchline ban for both legs of Chelsea's quarter-final against Bayern Munchen for the suggestion that Rijkaard had entered the officials' dressing room.

It was revealed later on that the UEFA, had observed Rijkaard say hello in the tunnel and then attempt to converse with Frisk about the match on the way to the officials' room. Allegedly Frisk told him that "This is not the place or the moment to talk about the match" and left Rijkaard outside the room.

I had no idea the similarities connection about the fact that happens that time to nowadays Barcelona antics thus far though. But, the whole display speculation and/or false allegations during the match is debatable, which is remain to be seen. I will say it again - Barcelona's playacting and pressure on referees is a part of their training. Its methodical and systematic, and therefore an instruction from Guardiola. I'm all for it if Ronaldo is punished for diving, if that puts a stop to these shameful antics. Set an example, then have the teams constantly under the scope and things will change. However, if Ronaldo is punished, he will come back and play like before, with less diving and nothing will change in Madrid's general outset/gameplan. But the repercussion of stronger enforcement of anti-diving would hurt Barcelona far more. That is first, because ALL of their players dive, thus much more of their squad would get suspended. Second, because many of them know no other way, being implanted that method during their upbringing as footballers, so it will be very hard on them to give up on the habit. And third, because they would be a lot more vulnerable if referees didn't tolerate their antics, with their play being so depending on it.

What pepe did in the past should have had no effect on this game or the reffs decision (even though again, im guessing thats exactly what happened). Just like bommel gets many cards because hes van bommel or ibrahimvic gets calls against him due to his reputation giving the red to pepe to re-compensate some of his past madness shouldn't be fair or an option.

And again i dont care about pepe, most def dont fell sorry for him or reals loss + i wasn't referring to just alves's assumed diving.
