give me a fucking break. Alves' leg bounces from kicking the ball into Pepe's foot first. Pepe didn't catch him with his studs, no way. Its beside the point though, Madrid played like shit and it was Mourinho's fault, but this was not a red card.

By no means do I want to hate on Madrid, but that clip is edited....If you look at other clips (not from that show) you can clearly see Pepe's studs touching Dani Alves' calf.....

Its not edited, its just slowed down.

Same here. It doesn't matter now, and I don't like diverting attention to that from Madrid's performance and Mourinho's failure, because he wants to use that as an excuse. But if we're talking about this incident, it was a definite dive and not a red card by any means. ffs if that was the standard Mascherano should have been given a red instead of a yellow for a kick on Pepe minutes earlier. Based on reputation too.

Money can't buy loyalty, but it does give players the security to go out and perform with minds free of worry. Contrast the attitude to Malinga with how AC Milan, Europe's second-most successful football club, treated Fernando Redondo, the talented Argentine playmaker who moved there in 2000.

Redondo played just 16 times in four seasons after injuring his knee while on the treadmill. The club kept paying him £2.74 million a year until he asked for it to be suspended. They also refused to take back the house and car that they had given him.

that is a bad argument, it doesnt mean what pepe did doesnt deserve a red, it simply means ref made a mistake in the other case. I thought red was a bit harsh but given the circumstances, i cant say its anything out of the ordinary.

Must have hit concidering Alves near death experience.

Seriously though, again: they both collide with the ball. Pepe at higher pace and Alves with the mass of a little girl. Its not quantum physics, its.. physics. Alves spin is not intentional, he coudnt stop it if he wanted to. Then somewhere mid air he remembers that he is arguably the biggest c*nt in fotball and the rest is history.

Hiperblaster,
Thats unrelated, Ribery hit the player, not the ball.

I' ve heard Barca is going to sue Mourinho for his press conference, and Madrid is going to sue Barca for acting.

Was a very strange move by him (Alves) anyway, if one day in 25 years he could just explain how he did it ?!

When watching the game last night, that simpsons scene was the exact thing that came into my mind!

The Barcelona, Man Utd final I think will be a much better game.

Its kinda hard not to try searching 4 reasons and hate them considering the crap they pull off on the pitch (and again WHY when they clearly have the best roster in the world, completely unnecessary).

Pepe is a animal, i would also like it if he never set foot on the pitch again but is it really fair to give a red over that based upon a players reputation? Alves dramatized it, hes scream could have been heard all away from here not to mention the rolling on the pitch, coming of good as new soon after. All i want is them to win relying on their quality and talent only. They amount of whining they are allowing without any consequence whatsoever is ridiculous at this point. Dont care if in the end pepes red was truly justified hell im happy barca won but at this point no barca fan can moan over the amount of criticism their team of choice is getting over their play acting. All the diving and moaning, i despised milan on san siro vs totanham and ill despise this barca that has all the quality in the world to win titles without the need of trying to the change the opinion of the reff or simulating.
So in a way you will feel sorry if a raper got framed for a **** he didnt commit even when in the past escaped many crimes ?
Pepe escaped many times when he deserved to get a red so fuck him ......

I could care less about either teams, but the way barcelona acted made me hate them. Tackling hard (what real was doing) is apart of the game: diving, acting, screaming, and complaining is for hollywood. Mourinho has every right to complain, barcelona are left off the hook for so many things. I remember leo messi during the league match at madrid ac couple weeks ago, he blasted the ball into the stands to waste time and he wasnt even spoken to by the referee. Anyone else, thats a yellow. At the end of the day, madrid is 9 times european champions, barcelona....yea, 3.

Anyone know if there's any Barca players that are a yellow away from missing the final?

Upon learning of the unprecedented decision by F. C. Barcelona to lodge a formal complaint against Real Madrid C. F. coach Jose Mourinho with the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Body, Real Madrid C. F. announces that it is obligated to follow suit concerning the repeated unsportsmanlike behavior of F. C. Barcelona, whose players consistently feigned aggressions with the sole purpose of misleading the referee of the match, which clearly led to the unfair decision to dismiss our player Pepe.

It is surprising that this chain of unsportsmanlike conduct and unfortunate decisiones finally culminates in the lodging of a complaint against our coach Jose Mourinho who, beyond opinions based on his right to freedom of speech, expressed his objection to victory at any price and the violation of the principles of loyalty, integrity and sportsmanship established in Art. 7 of the Preamble of the Statutes of UEFA and Art. 5 of its Disciplinary Regulations, by which Real Madrid C. F. expresses its full support of its coach.

Good move by the club. Them disgusting little faggots even have the nerve to complain over last night?

Great move. Mourinho is possibly the only coach in the world who can actually get UEFA to look at Barca's antics.

pepe kicked him or he didn't doesnt matter. It's part of the game. It's not like real is so pure and never dive themselves anyway..
just proves what a bunch of whiners madrid team is made up of.
did we post a video of christina ronaldo on acmilan.com? did we make a big deal out of it? NO.
because we have a thing called "class" which no other team seems to have :)

I actually have/had sympathy with Ronaldo because of the amount of times he was deliberately targeted but wasn't given a free kick or penalty.

Doesnt anybody think Guardiola is behind all this?

Barca were never like that under Rijkaard with the surrounding the ref and cheating, however it has become part of their game since he took over.

I think he's a hypocrite myself. He comes across as the good guy, but I bet before games he tells his players to cheat at all costs as well as pressurize the ref.

Sickening cunt of a man. Deserves what comes his way in football after Barca's display yesterday. Madrid were not even as bad.

Look at Valdes running out to confront the ref.

Barca are a fucking disgusting club and a bunch of cheats.

I dislike Madrid but I hope they comeback, if not United thrash them at Wembley. I used to like Barca but after Wednesday, I realized that they are a vile bunch of individuals, the lot of them.

If Pep was so good, he wouldnt let his players do those sort of things.
