i just wish he was more like neymar really confident about his dribbling and passes

I clearly remember how 4 years ago, every Milan fan, and Ancelotti too for that matter, said that Pato should stop dribbling and learn to play in a team unit.

I will bet anyone 1m$ cash (which I don't have), that Neymar will either stop dribbling that much after moving to Europe or will fail miserably. European top flight football just doesn't work that way.

Even queen Kristina stopped doing useless dribbles eventually.

I am sad to see Pato playing as CF for Brazil and for Milan last 2 years.. he is not a box player, what a waste, Pato is one of the best in the world running with the ball at his feet, but he has not done this for 2 years now. I hope to see a forward trio of Sha3rawi-Prince-Pato, this would be utilizing all 3 of their abilities

Pato's best football came when he was played coming off the main striker, while running with the ball at pace or running into space to score. A player like that would hate playing in the box as a poacher, I am sure he will give up, it needs a certain character and patience and concentration to play as poacher, Pato does not have the character for it. We should use this 'year zero' to actually use what we have to their best ability and I am sure if someone asked Pato he would say I would like to pick the ball up and run with it.

I know, Pato was wasting the ball because he was never fully fit nor was he ready mentally... now is the time to see what he can do.

You could see Pato's talent form the moment he stepped on the pitch, the only reason he stopped with his dribbles was/is his problem with injuries, whenever he played in the last 2 years he wasn't fully fit to play, he couldn't run too much so he just waited for the ball
