watched girl with the dragon tattoo this weekend. was suspensful and interesting (the half of the movie about the missing girl) but overall far too violent and disturbing. especially the **** scene, my god how awful...and i didn't even watch it! i made my husband mute the movie too...only problem is later in the movie, when she's getting her revenge, she plays the video of her **** in the background...so there was no getting away from it

no more of these kind of movies for me, i think. i find them too upsetting and they bother me for weeks on end. from now on comedies only...if it's got will ferrell in it then OK

i was thinking about it yesterday and overall i'm glad i watched the movie. definitely would never watch it again and so thankful i watched it at home. i'm not sure how i could have managed to sit through it in a movie theater without leaving

i thought the end was sad and open-ended. my guess is that they did that on purpose for a sequel...typical hollywood stuff

i watched the version with daniel craig...so the hollywood version i think. originally it was a swedish movie? i seem to recall reading that on this foum actually.

as for the revenge scene, well i didn't watch that either. i hid my eyes and closed my ears and in the end asked husband what she said. i did see the tattoo she left for him though

as for documentaries, generally i cannot even watch them. i'm just too sensitive i guess.

I've only seen the Swedish ones, but am planning to watch the American one too, but only because of David Fincher.

I read that Bond was gonna be drinking Heineken in Skyfall. Don't think beer suits him very well, but gonna watch it anyway though. Thought Casino Royal was great... last movie was awful though.

Good movie, but i wouldn't rate this movie very high. Still it's shown from a cool POV. Wouldn't mind watching this on a rainy sunday afternoon again.

I think they'll make a third trilogy. Disney sounds corny but just look at what they've done since they bought marvel. Idk though, star wars won't be the same without Yoda

I usually agree with the IMDB ratings. There are many movies with poor avg ratings that I like, but I usually can understand why it doesn't get good ratings, like umm it being a remake, rip-off, unoriginal, childish, predictable etc, but still being entertaining.

Pretty average indeed. Best parts of the movie for me were trivial shit like hearing about the Sandri incidents or listening Joy Division.
