Ben Stiller. This guy is a GOD!
yep, he's a funny man..i remember, in zoolander, at the end of the movie, he speaks indo-malay mixedly..couldn't hear him saying clearly, i had to backward repeatedly that scene to make sure that he was really speaking indo-malay, cos his accent was really funny..

though, i think rob schneider is funnier, i watched hot chick like 4 times, and it still makes me laugh..i like to watch his mimic

Matilda: I became...
Hansel: What?
Matilda: Bulimic.
Derek Zoolander: You can read minds?
:D

Add the "Wake me Up Before you Go Go music" and that "Magnum" look you got a must-see movie for silliness :D :D.
Dodgeball, Zoolander, Starsky & Hutch, Envy, Along came Polly (hank azaria was great), duplex, meet the parents/fockers, something about mary. Even in 'the Royal Tenenbaum' he's great.

There's one movie where he played as the leader of people who claimed to have super power. This one's sooo funny and silly. I forgot the tittle. Can somebody helped me?

Over the weekend I watched the Departed (directed by Martin Scorsese) starring Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, Matt Damon and Leo Di Caprio (heavyweight cast). Great movie! Really like it. And cool soundtrack too, if you like 70s songs. After Mystic River, Irish mafia is getting the spotlight again.
That's the Hollywood remake of the chinese movie Infernal Affairs.

I think Ben Stiller is very far from comedy. Kind of pathetic IMO. Ofcourse it's just me who has this different kind of humour sense. Anyway "There's Something About Mary" was pretty watchable. And gaizka you should check for www.imdb.com to find out that movie. I think I could do it too but info about Ben Stiller doesn't interest me.

Oh and the sketch in P. Diddy-Bad Boy For Life video was pretty good too.

Madagascar only featured his voice, so we can count it out. In "Anchorman (the Legend of Ron Burgundy)" he only featured in one scene (the crazy newscasters fight) so that can be counted out too. I've watched Orange County but can't remember him there, must watch it again then.

Thanks for reminding me about the movie "Mystery Men" :D

Just watched Casino Royale. Not bad, considering it seemed as though this was Bond's first mission since he learned all his trademarks: Martini, DB4, Bond ... James Bond, towards the end. However, I couldn't help but be dissapointed in him for falling for a such a stupid, yet quite attractive, chick. I mean, she could have told him what the scene was before she died. Her killing herself (not lieteraly, but come on) and then telling Bond who the bad guys were was pretty lame. I'm hoping that they continue to mix stories from previous Bond movies and also stress the importance of the Bond-character rather than the actor.

A while back, I heard of a new Indiana Jones movie coming up ... this true?

Can I ask everybody who's discussing a newly released movie NOT to talk about any of the plot? For the sake of people who haven't watched them?

Just watched Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange. Brilliant plot. :)

About new Indiana Jones movie coming up, this is not just rumour. The movie is in pre-production status and will be scheduled to show at theatre in 2008.

What on earth for ? I don't see it does something wrong when others share a bit any of plot of newly-released movie they just have watched. It shares opinion, subjectively one judges their point of view overall. You can take it or leave it behind. :)

Casino Royale awaits you. You better catch up the movie if you haven't watched it yet.

Even better, just put the following tags around your post if you're going into plot details: [spoiler*]insert text here[/spoiler*] (Remove the asterisks, of course.)

If you want to read it, just drag the mouse over the text. I've used Gaizka's above post as an example.

The new Bond movie is a good watch. I have read some of the Ian Flemming novels, and Bond is portrayed as a ruthless assassin, not the pithy comeback, jolly tea-drinker, her majesty's loyal terrier that was portrayed by earlier actors. (I am not downplaying Moore here...he was entertaining).

Craig was a good choice, and the movie Layered Cake (GREAT, GREAT MOVIE) suggests this.
I think that if one is a highly trained government spy possessing a license to kill, he should be portrayed as such. This is certainly true with Craig, and some could even argue that Casino Royale borders very close to the first Bond movie that very well could have been rated R. A few more graphics and we would have been there. Ruthlessly shooting people in one-on-one encounters was at an all-time high for Bond flicks in this one.

Agree with you, but at times, Casino Royale was a bit too
Spoiler:
lovey-dovey for me. Also, I liked the idea of reducing the graphics for more real stunt action sequences. Tonning down the features of the Bond car was also a nice touch. All in all, this one was more realistic than Pierce's movies.

well I mus disagree !

IT SUCKED ! a complete waste of my money.

I never was bored ever before watching a JB movie, not even seeing them over and over again ... but this one did the trick.

I have the whole collections of JB movies and am a fan of the first hour but this movie is a discraese on Ian Flemming heritage ! JB is not the man who jumps from a building crane to another, or walks through walls, drives a ford mondeo !, a car with NO gadgets, a f*cking poker game (he plays bacarat for gods sake) that takes more than 30 minutes and drinks something else than wodka martini, knows how to break into a laptop and breaks the record of most flipovers with a car in a movie ... damn even MI III was better then this movie. No to mention the crappy action perfomrmance of Daniel Craig ... now I am starting to appreciate Pierce Brosnam ...

This was a remake of the first movie .. pff .. if they don't have inspiration left they shouldn't make a move. If this is the new bond style ... they should stop !

The movie industry has accomplished something though .. they won't earn any more money of me ! I'll watch my movies on the internet ...

Well I didn't see the 1st movie... and that it'S a remake isn't Craigs fault!
Okay I think the car was stupid, but the wodka martini joke was pure gold!
also I thought the movie very funny, and certainly worth my money!

Telling others about what they think about the movie, how the acting, set, music etc is fine. Sharing the plot is always wrong. I once threw a cup of hot tea to someone who told me that Braveheart is a very good movie, but too bad Mel Gibson died in the end.

I was about to watch it last night with my wife and some friends, but cancelled it because the traffic was soooo bad because of the rain. Next week maybe.

I haven't seen a movie but seems you've gotten Ian Fleming Bond and Hollywood Mr Gadget, James Bond Gadget mixed up.

From what I've read from reliable sources this bond is more Fleming than any other(exept maybe Dr. No). You see bond isn't really about those gadgets that you were expecting since I assume you have only seen the movies. But if you talk about Fleming then take your time off and read the books of Bond. Then you'll get this movie better and hate the real Fleming's heritage demeaners like Tomorrow Never Dies or what was the one called when they opened door for BMW.

Yup, he remains as the leading role. Rumored such as Sean Connery and Natalie Portman take part of co-starring the movie.

Then go on, pay your curiousity. :D You can take it what others say or leave it behind. Plain and simple. Plot is about complexity, in depth of story tells. Sometimes you even can't understand the movie plot at all. Oh even Bruce shows up in Ocean Twelve on how surprisingly he sees Julia gets pregnant.

Movies 'sometimes' expect the unexpected. Braveheart is a very good movie = overall appraisal. Mel Gibson died in the end = part of depth plot of story tells from beginning to final. Sometimes hero 'couldn't last forever' in end credits. :)

Yea, that sucks. Happened to me couple of times, but then when you start watching the movie, if It's really good, then you enjoy it & forget what your friends told you, and maybe even you could get surprised in the end even if you know it

Today, at school we watched the Movie Shakespear in love, 1998 production, didn't finish it though...

I think it's kind of boring, not my type of movies, I don't like those classical crap movies, but of course we enjoyed the sex scenes ;) Favorite parts of the movie :D
